The FA likes to pride itself on premier league footballers playing key role models to the current younger generation.
What sort of example are the current players of Chelsea and Spurs setting to our children, and the adults we want them to eventually become?
Points deduction for both clubs seems the only feasible punishment to me.
Just for the continues by Diver Alli, Spurs should have had point deduction. Disgusting acts says the least.

3 incidents of failing to control your players in a season = 1 point deduction
Every subsequent incident = 2 point deduction.
Caught diving once - 3 game ban
Caught again - 6 game ban
It would clean the game up in 1 season

In theory you could kill someone on a football pitch and not get arrested

Things like Ben Thatcher on Pedro Mendes or John Fashanu on Gary Mabbutt should possibly cross over into criminal activity, but you would hate for "bad tackles" (such as Aguero on Saturday or Taylor on Eduardo) to fall out of the sporting authorities control. Would harm the sport.
Aguero's tackle was ridiculous. I do think there should be a reckless endangerment punishment or something because as much as I laughed at the time it was vicious. He'll get four games though and that's that.
In terms of controlling players they give fines don't they but the numbers are somewhat inconsequential.
I 100% think Fabregas should be charged.
Points deductions I'm not sure. If memory serves it did sort Utd and Arsenal out so maybe a traffic light system or something.

Didn't Arsenal get charged last season when playing Chelsea?

Yes, and repeat offences should bring stricter punishment.
Would also say refs need to be looked at. Often these type of things happen when a ref has failed to do his job - Clattenburg especially at the Bridge last season was culpable in his weak handling of the game.

Pretty sure the fine gets bigger and that's all the authorities care about

I imagine it's the highest of any club across three seasons tbh.

It is longer than the list of Tottenham Hotspur top flight title wins though
And it is a very long list compared to the average number the rest of the PL clubs have got
