Facking scouse hypocrite believing what the Sun rag writes but when its about them its all lies. Seriously fack off mate

Well said Dude. Doesn't look good, but to see a Liverpool fan jumping on material distributed by The Sun, and the Sun alone is really really poor

Having said that, if the allegations are true, then of course he deserves to be condemned.

I'd be extremely disappointed if it were true. Hard to believe that story

Until I see it on a more credible news website, I'm not gonna give this the time of day. Facking Sun newspaper. They write more BS and shouldn't be considered news.

Just done an internet search, it's on a couple of news outlets (maybe copied from the SUN ?) but not other newspapers.

Yeah I saw the Mirror were running it, but it was through The Sun coverage.

My gut instinct is that The Sun wouldn't have been posting a story like that if they weren't fairly certain of its validity. It's too big a story for rumour mongering. Time will tell. Hope it's rubbish obvs but i expect it not to be, in all honesty

70% sure the Sun have copied the news from a French media company as well but not sure how credible they are

So In summary, he is annoyed his charity work hasnt got him a knighthood.

What a sodn

Haven't clicked on it as refuse to engage with the The Sun, but it's bound to be either completely untrue, or completely misleading.

True Guvnor

I guess it's just the image he has, where he can do no wrong but Beckham is ripe for any misdemeanour. Whereas Berahino gets off his jubblies etc and gets off very lightly. It all comes down to your fame eventually, I guess

posted on 4/2/17

Apparently it's not the Sun who have got these emails. It was a major investigation by the French media. Shame if true.

Andy Murray and Mo Farah received well deserved knighthood's recently. Both top of there game.

Not saying this is true but if true what is Beckham basing his wanting a knighthood on? A good football career no doubt, for England he couldn't lead the golden generation.

Charity work. Most sportsman engage in charity work.

A knighthood should always be for something extraordinary.

If true it makes me laugh.

The false veneer has been wiped away and the self cvnt can be seen by all.

I wonder what kind of damage control they're going to use.

Anything they can Mr Chelsea. Will be an uphill battle.

I still maintain he's underrated as a footballer though. His ability to cross becomes more evident every time Antonio Valencia tries 😂😭

Kash

100%. It is meant to be the highest British honour and should be based upon the height of excellence in your field

Someone on here, a united poster too but can't remember who, posted years back about the public image re charity stuff not being quite true

Think they were close to an ill child who was at an event the beckhams were attending or promoting, said they showed up done the photos and then did one... No time for anyone... Yet the papers were full of the golden couple etc

In saying that... He has helped raise millions by putting his name to things... Which is still a good thing... All having an ulterior motive does is make him look like a bit of a bell

Beyond everything else, there aren't many footballers who come across as decent people, all in all. I love Crouchy, in spite of his Liverpool past, and I love Harry Kane, because he's looking like a class striker whilst seeming more confused than anyone about it, and maintaining that likability factor.

There aren't many footballers you could genuinely like and think are really good people. So this is sad

----------------------------------------------------------------------

They did not. Not saying they were not at the top of the game. But knighthoods under-30? Just for a meritorious sports career with PR-organised charity work thrown in? Give me a break.

The awards system is an entire racket tbh , hacks back to an antiquated past and should be abolished completely.
