There's a very convincing case for Luiz. Interesting that two of the three candidates are new signings.

Cahill also up there for me this season, especially as captain. Moses too, he's been very important. Don't think I can call it. Let's see what happens from now until the end of the season.

For Chelsea, Hazard, Azpi and Luiz have been our best players.

I know Kante has been highlighted a lot, but for me Hazard is the star of the team and really has turned up when its mattered.

Luiz has been rock solid, and a great leader on the pitch, and Azpi covers three positions in the team.

However, I don't think necessarily one of our players should be player of the year. Personally, I think it should be Sanchez, who despite how awful his team mates have been around him, has been carrying them for most of the season. Our success has more been a team effort his year to be honest.

I just realised this was for Chelsea player of the year

This female Chelsea fan who's a presenter for the premier league said Kante should be poty ahead of Hazard. She ended up getting a barrage of abuse. Some of it well over the top

The obvious choice is Mike Hayes, with his 14 goals, but I'd go for Chris Venables. The midfield mainstay carries the team at times, and has contributed plenty of goals himself.

Schwarzer didn't play single minute for Leicester or did he ?

Think the defence is a team effort with Chelsea tbh, the system and style make you difficult to play against.

Can't look past Hazard for POTS for me, Kante a close second.

I disagree that Kane carries Tottenham, sure he is the most prolific attacking player they have, but Eriksen and Alli have also been brilliant.

Zlatan has been excellent for United, but he has also be a culprit of their inability to finish chances.

Sanchez has been many ways unfairly overlooked this year. When he has been magnificent for Arsenal.

Anyway, Sanchez will.probably get it next season when he plays his best football in his career for Chelsea

Eh? Hump? Other? It's clear the praise from your fellow Chelsea fan was with that much touted transfer in mind. Why else would someone say one of the best players in the league had been "overlooked".
