Of course you don't want us to over analyse as it'll involve slating Fellaini and Jose's tactics

Do u really think playing like that we will get anything more than a point each at arsenal and spurs

His tactics were good tonight. We didn't lose. That's what it's about at this stage of the season in game season like these.

I'm happy with the point but that was embarrassing

We'll have Pogba back and he is perfect for this system. I.e. Playing passes that start off counter attacks

Rashford had a great 20 minutes until we decided to set up shop.

My advice, don't overanalyse tonight's game

Actually not an unreasonable result, especially when starting with such a weak line up. Martial and rashford are reserve team players at the moment, and herrera is just never going to be a premiership level player.

That being said, making them even weaker by putting on the awful lingard is asking for trouble and a sign that the manager is giving up.

Yes, fellaini was silly but his presence out there is more worthy than so many of the others, and that is just really sad for a once great club.

Putting this current squad into perspective a bit, the BBC featured the last time these two clubs met on a Thursday. Kanchelski, Hughes and Cantona all scoring.

More proof that without rooney, ibra and mata out there, united are toothless, gutless and clueless.

Back 4 did well.

Herrera put in a shift in MF, thought Martial was good defensively before he tired near the end. Can see Jose appreciating his shift.

Most boring game of football I've seen in a long time.

Job done?!!

Sorry is it now man uniteds job to hold City to a goalless bore fest at their place?!

Yeah that's the spirit......

Fergie must vomiting somewhere right now

Valencia Bailly Blind Carrick and Herrera stand out players for me

Play those tactics against Spurs and we'd be 3-0 down at HT. We were awful tonight, and Fellaini is thankfully out for the next three games. Aguero did us a favour.

Are we going for the title?

Nope, we have a huge game in a week with a patched together squad.

This game wasn't the most important derby ever. It's not important that we won.

It's ok, job done guys

You didn't need to move into 4th anyway....

We still have a very good chance of 4th

It wasn't dependent on a win tonight

Think you may be forgetting that Fergie set us up in the big games very similarly to what we saw today.

In the more crucial title decider in which we lost 1-0, we were even less ambitious.

posted on 27/4/17

To be fair it was not a good performance at all in many ways.

However, we dug in and got a point which could prove crucial.

I do think we missed Pogba tonight as he does offer a drive in midfield Fellaini just can't.

Fellaini, up to his red, didn't do much wrong but having him in the team inhibits us I feel if we truly want to express ourselves.

Let's move on though and if we beat Swansea on Sunday we'll move into 4th for the time being at least and then sit back and hope Watford can do something v Liverpool.

To get top 4 now though I think we'll have to win both our home games and get 7 points from Spurs, Arsenal and Saints. Difficult but not impossible,

You're not going for the title precisely because of this kind of mentality. What you should be going for is top 4 however

31% possession with one shot on target - you're Manchester United for christs sake. You've spent £300m in the last 3 years. What the fack?!!

posted on 27/4/17

Fellaini will miss 3 league games now for that red surely?

posted on 27/4/17

Under Jose, utd have become utterly tedious to watch.

A typically dull, defensive performance, but I suppose you knew what you were getting when he signed up.

Cool story bro. Tonight won't even be remembered in a few months, just a footnote as we improve and start challenging again

We went to a rivals ground with an injury ravished squad. wtf were you 'fans' hoping for

A point is a good result and keeps us in a great position

next season however when jose has more of his own signings I will expect more

What's so awful is watching United fans buy into this shiiiiit.
