Fans have very rarely been bored at OT this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As a season ticket holder, I can confirm this is a load of bollockss.

Ow Robb, stop it. Honestly. You're getting deluded.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yay, it's that Dutch fan who thinks LVG was unfairly treated!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More delusion.

We've not been any better this year as an attacking unit.

----------------------------------------------------

I think you must have forgotten just how wretched we were at times last season going forward because it's not been quite as bad as that, yet. Some of our performances since the turn of the year have come close and we had the odd shocker in the earlier part of the season but during the first half of the season, we were noticeably better than last season mostly, even if we didn't have the points to show for it, not that it says a great deal really because things had to improve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And I am on record pointing out that is was a consequence of Residual tactics from LvGs time. They had a system of attack with much better players and granted a "new manager" boost.

2 months later and Jose's attacking tactics (which is none) becomes pronounced and boom they start playing like a Jose team without a Robben or Hazard.

Our players look confused. Every single attacking player has no instruction other than just faff around. Lots of defensive instruction though, that is obvious.

I reckon LvG will be competing for the title if he had all the players Jose signed and that may be the only credit I can give him. Defence is great but LvG had a great defensive record too

I do not like Jose but if he succeeds I will celebrate, this season is gone though, cant see anything panning out, even the EL will be lost because I am sure we will meet better teams Anderlecht in the final and the struggle against them was disgraceful.

How anyone can watch what was our best team play a draw against Swansea and be positive?

Next season is going to be crazy, he will demand more money than last because he is going to need a player so good he won't need to come up with an attacking system. So one world class striker and Winger. If he is lucky, he might convince both to come, though Griezmann wanting CL is very indicative of what other players would request and if we do not make it, we are going to have problems recruiting.

How do you know Robb? Are you regularly in contact with the 70 odd thousand fans at OT?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't hear booing at the end like I heard under LVG

More often than not this season we've missed easy chances that cost us wins at OT

Last season we barely created anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've heard booing a few times of late at half time and end of the games Robb.

You also aren't there, the cameras don't pick everything up. I went to a bunch of moyes games and there was booing whcoj you denied.

To be fair players wanting CL football to join us should be seen as a good thing. It shows ambition.

We've signed some big players recently without CL football and financial motives have played a big part in them coming here. ADM being main one. Doesn't look like he even wanted to come in first place.

Griezmann is a star player in a quality team that could win the CL this year. They also move into new stadium in a few months. I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to play in the Europa League. He's better than that.

Total win % by manager:

1) Fergie 59.67%
2) Mourinho 56%
3) Moyes 52.94%
4) van Gaal 51.92%
5) Busby 50.04%
6) Atkinson 50%

Then way down....

Sexton 38.78%

Looking at that, not sure Moyes deserved to be replaced by that inept clutz van Gaal, and Busby definitely doesn't deserve his statue. Can't imagine he did much for the club with that low win %...

Fergies basically 60% is absolutely insane given how long he was there.

Fackin phenomenal really.

Absolutely incredible. Especially to think he retained it during the dark couple of seasons in the early 00s with Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson and a past his sell by date Keane competing for our midfield spots - let alone the truly shocking and ageing team he managed to win his final title with.

Don't be ridiculous. Rooney, Evra, Vidic, Giggs and Rio were only a few years past their best at that point

posted on 1/5/17

Yeah, seeing O'Shea and Giggs as our CM pairing was odd

Still beat Arsenal and that was when they were still good

posted on 1/5/17

I genuinely think if we had that version of RVP this season we'd be up there challenging

That was the season they bought about 6 players on deadline day including park Chu young, Andre santos, Arteta, squillaci and mertesacker. To go with the likes of Gervinho and chamakh.

They were such a mess then, if not for RVPs heroics that season they'd have finished well outside of the top four.

Nah, that season was later - the season of the 8-2 where RVP really did paper over cracks for them

The O'Shea/Giggs one was in 05/06

Still. Easy to get mixed up as we always did beat Arsenal

Ahhh I thought that was that season, as I remember you having some shiiiiiiiit centre mid combos in those latter years, Anderson and rafael in midfield comes to mind.

Morning lads, this has moved on since the article was created.

I can see lots of attempts to deflect from the crux of the article which is our home win percentage.

All the other stuff is just not relevant

Home win percentage is less relevant than overall win percentage.

Lambeau

Not for Busby who thinks fans care more about home form because more people attend them. Sound logic there from Busby once again.
