If we take the article at face value then...

1) it's not that interesting a stat
2) moreover, taken in isolation it's a misleading stat for the sake over comparisons to Moyes and LvG.
3) Shows how difficult to beat and formidable away from home Mourinho has made us that he has a higher win percentage than Moyes, despite having a poorer win % at home.
4) We probably were a little harsh on Moyes, because he had a better overall win percentage than LvG.
5) It appears the sacking of LvG was justified by his relatively poor overall win percentage.

They wouldn't count if he didn't...

re the away form we can all work out that it must be pretty good - and indeed it is, united are 3rd on away form, and just 1 point behind city in 2nd with 2 games in hand.

what is moderately interesting is the goalscoring - at home united have just 24 goals, vs spurs with 45, and everton/pool/chelsea all over 40.

but away from home, united have scored more goals (27) than spurs, 1 less than pool, and 2 less than chelsea, with games in hand on all of them (city lead the way on 38).

in other words away from home we are every bit as prolific as the free-flowing/exciting/attacking teams, so our wretched goals for column is entirely due to the home form.

All these are good points that will be useful in appropriate articles.

We've not been any better this year as an attacking unit. We've just been tougher to beat and more resilient.

I agree with that to a point. There was a period last year where we played some very good football and I thought we could even end up finishing 2nd.

Since the turn of the year we have gone back to being fairly crap again.

Our best football came when the likes of Pogba, Ibra and Miki were playing nice one touch passing in our build up. Seems like a lifetime ago now!

More often than not this season we've missed easy chances that cost us wins at OT

Last season we barely created anything.
.......
So if we barely created anything what did the opposition create lol afterall only 1 team outshot us in 29 home games and we averaged like double the shots as the opposition at home.

Is Mourinho fat and ugly?

Not that I have a crush on him, I'm just saying.

This we didn't create anything at home by Robb is stupid as we always created enough chances to win. It was very rare for the opposition to outshoot us in the 2 seasons LVG managed us. In Europe under LVG we out shot the opposition by double in average in 11 of the 12 games last season. Our problem was against weaker teams we bottled it.
