No it's not. Unless we win next Wednesday this season hasn't been good enough.

And I'll accept the football hasn't been good lately but it hasn't been awful all season. In fact Liverpools football has been pretty poor for a while until today.

Our manager showed plenty of passion when we got to a final, he doesn't jump around for show when we beat bottom half fodder.

You haven't been an entertaining team for a while either.

And regardless of our league form this year, top 4 challenge isn't good enough for Manchester United.

Clearly in having a wee wum, but it's refreshing to see a Utd fan acknowledge where they are right now.

Winning the Europa will really make your season fairly decent. But losing out on the CL again could be very damaging.

I'm under no illusions of this season.

First half/two thirds of the season we've played some good stuff and often got unlucky or were simply wasteful.

Last couple of months have poor other than the Chelsea game. We've got the job done so far in the Europa though.

This wouldn't have happened or been acceptable under SAF but it was always his own team in the PL era. Jose has signed 4 players.

How do you know he doesn't jump around? When you play bottom half fodder, doesn't it normally end in a draw?

remember when Mourinho used to shake hands and walk off 2 mins before the game ended?

As for Liverpool of the 90's sure, we didn't win enough trophies, but played some exciting football with some great games.

3-3 with United, after being 3-0 down, 4-3's with Newcastle, 4-4 in the FA cup with Everton,

Fowler, Mcmanaman, Collymore when he was actually good..

Man U at the moment are not even as exciting as Crystal Palace to watch, and they've got Sam Allardyce as manager.

So let me get this straight,

That's 11 trophies in 16 years. These are considered barren years for the club.

It's arguably the most successful barren spell in English football.

We are a lot like Liverpool in the 90's tbf. We need to get that monkey (PL title) off our backs ASAP before it becomes a burden.
