What a great entertainer. I reckon Saturday evening's best TV viewing in the 70's was the Generation Game and 'til Death. I remember being taken to a showing of Sunday Night at the London Palladium (circa 1965) hoping it might have been Bruce compering but it was Norman 'Roses grow all over you' Vaughan introducing that night instead.

People always pine for the past, i bet not many appreciated those "good old days" as much at the time as in hindsight.

15 year's from now it will be the "good old days" of The Chase and Saturday night takeaway.

KLS I have seen Gladiators and there is no actor going by the name of Bruce in that film.Who is Bruce who you all guys are mourning?
