Last year they thought they would walk the league and we would finish out the top 4.

What, all of us? Most of us? ...based on a thorough statistical sample, I'm guessing. Do you have no idea how dumb it sounds to pretend you know what millions of people think, based on who they support?
I mean how many Liverpool fans, exactly, thought we would "walk the league" last year? None, that I know, and I bet I know more Liverpool fans than you do.
I've actually been more positive about Arsenal's chances this season than many of the comments posted by Arsenal fans on here. They recovered from the 8-2, and I don't think it's at all impossible they could do the same again.
But if they get whalloped 4-0, they're going to get some teasing, you think it doesn't happen the other way round?
And I saw just as much stick about their transfer window on other boards, if not more.
What is so hard to believe about this? You guys aren't usually the most dignified of fans.

Really though, and see you don't see this, watching Arsenal fans meltdown is hilarious in so many ways.
They are probably the most vocal fans to 'sing when they are winning' out of any on ja606. Arsenal fans act the same no matter the results, Utd fans went from being untouchable to crazy sensitive, Chelsea fans all do their own thing except a few muggy c*nt s anyway. Liverpool fans literally went on hiding before last season and are getting slowly more and more confident.
There are a few decent posters who have remained consistent, but on the whole its a facking funny fanbase to laugh at

I still do find this place very odd when it comes to being happy / confident about your team, it's like you're not allowed to celebrate a good win or your team doing well.
This happens across all fans bases on here, so many people are so quick to shoot you down if you make positive comments about your team.
And I don't mean some GB style outlandish comment like Liverpool will win the World Cup and Euro's double in the same season, I mean normal run of the mill celebratory comments when yout team wins.

He's like wasp-bait for people whose main, determined mission is to "prove" that Liverpool fans are "delusional", "arrogant", "hypocritical", etc.
I don't know what his original intentions were, but every day they swarm around his articles, levelling the same accusations again, and again, and again. It feeds the narrative they are desperate to believe, and they can't help themselves. Even people who've seen him posting for years....it's funny.
This is a bit of a strange site, tbh, but it can be entertaining, in a quirky sort of way.

He wasn't guaranteed a mf birth at Arsenal or Chelsea.
It's all the gas about players wanting to join them that has gone to their head.
Let's be honest with all the talk that gone on this window they've actually barely improved. Players wanting to join them is one thing, but those players didn't join them.
They are still a good team mind but not title worthy imo.
