You are being far too defensive DC5.

Either you know the exact figure or your don't. If you do, then is it really unreasonable for someone to ask you what it is?

Don't bother then, concentrate on your own club and perhaps explain why you've not gone to Greece.

Because I have a business to run

I see, and presumably all City fans finish work at 5.00 pm, prompt on a Wednesday.

BTW, business must be booming if you can afford to spend several hours a day posting tripe on the City board.

Obviously not - some city followers are schoolchildren and students, some unemployed, some might be on shifts, some might still be working, some might live too far away and some might be in prison. You really shouldn't generalise you know

Indeed it is - all of my enterprises are extremely successful, probably because I'm bright enough to only employ intelligent and capable staff.

Oh - tripe on the City board thing; at the top of the page it says "Football Premier League Manchester City Tottenham Hotspur" which you obviously didn't know means it on 2 (two) boards, one of which is the Spurs board

Not successful enough for you to go to Greece though.

posted on 15/9/11

More than successful enough actually ... however that remember this is the internet and you know nothing about those you enter into a debate with, you know not where they are, who they are or what they do for a living.

Especially if they don't have a profile.

Exactly .... hence no profile

Still a bigger attendance than Spurs have ever got at home in the Premier League.

43,000 City fans there last night, about 3 times as many as there were Spurs fans at Why Tart Lane for their gripping encounter with Shamrock Rovers.

so you couldnt sell out? ok, just checking

posted on 19/10/11

Spurs didn't sell out last season. In a stadium that holds around 10,000 fewer people than Eastlands.

Just pointing that fact out to you.

You need educating on your own club again Chronic?

Go check the attendances on your own club's website for your CL games last season and get back to me.

ripleys cat. i was at every CL game last season and there wasnt a seat to be had... any lack of attendance would have been due to away fans not bringing their allocation, in which case i wouldnt have seen it as i am in south upper and away fans were housed in park lower in the CL.

thanks for your efforts on educating me about my club though.

read my latest article on the city board for some education on your club

I don't care whether you were at every CL game. I'm not basing my comment on you attending the game, I'm basing it on the official attendance listed for each CL game at WHL last season (which varies to the tune of approx 4,000.

32k approx for Twente, 36k approx for Inter.

So unless the away allocation for fans at WHL in the CL was around 4,000 (unlikely), and Inter maxed that out their allocation (possible) while Twente didn't sell a single ticket (unlikely), Spurs didn't sell out their own allocation.

Nonetheless, 32k attendance for the Twente game in a 36k capacity stadium (restriction for CL games notwithstanding) is really not that different (in percentage terms) to City getting a 42k attendance last night in a 47k capacity (restriction for CL games notwithstanding). Meaning that Spurs are really in no position to have a dig at City's attendance. Not to mention of course that our attendance last night was approx 10,000 higher than the one you got against Twente. And one thing we do know about City's game last night? Villarreal bought around 20 fans. So you tell me, how many did Twente take to WHL last season?

(Ok, off to read your latest article on the City board. )

Oh, that was the latest post on the City board you were referring to?

Sorry, no education to be had there. That's just an example of you being an immature wum (and one who, by your own admittance only wrote that article because (sob sob boo hoo) a City fan wummed on Spurs' board).

those are upper tier blocks my friend... away fans in CL go in the lower

posted on 19/10/11

The point whooshes over your head. You did say that you were in the south UPPER, or did you forget that?

Meaning that from where you were you saw...Oh nevermind - even if I explain it in the most simplistic of terms, the point would still escape you.

ripleys dont let me raise your blood pressure my feline friend.

So Twente brought 6 fans. They brought a couple of thousand when we played them 3 years ago, maybe London is a lot further away from Enschede and they felt the CL was less important than the UEFA Cup.

Or maybe he's telling lies again.
