Fantastic in spells, but we have a very soft underbelly.

We are definitely missing a player that can score (Britt) he would be in double figures if he was still here. Very, very fine margins.
And to the idiot who says change manager. You are an idiot. No offence.

There's a few of them around at the moment

I notice a couple of them who have been very vocal about changing managers early on in the past (bar Dougie). You can be certain if we don't suddenly hit top form they'll be prolifically criticising up to the point where they are encouraging others to call for his head.

I honestly wish some of these "fans" would have cleared off with Fawaz, they backed the imbecile until close to the end

Most of them don't go, Ray.
You can see that all over the pitch we are improving, but we need a goal scorer. I like Murph but he needs help and Cummings may be that but he snatched at a couple last night that he should be doing better with.

McKay was a bit of a miss too. He has probably been the most creative influence amongst all the forwards so far this season. It is a big step up from the Scots Prem even to the Champ so understandable that he may be feeling the pace a little now.

Changing managers is always the solution...😐

It is for some, once they start they don't stop either, it's constant.

We're not doing well but good grief, it's still early days. We've had to be prudent in the transfer market, we've changed approach football wise and we've got a manager, dof and scout structure that is likely to be decimated again if we get shot. They've had one transfer window, but managers at Forest in recent years don't get many

Yes, unless Forest plummet into the bottom three, I think Warburton and his staff deserve the time to build. Pre-season was solid but the set back of losing Vaughan, in particular, and the Federici issue has de-railed efforts somewhat.

There were signs of promise last night, we conceded 3 awful goals but could have scored 5 ourselves, so I don't believe we're that far away from being a competent team, but MW must figure out a way to defend that doesn't cost us 2 goals a game minimum!

Lichaj, Hobbs, Mancienne and Traore in a back 4, with Bridcutt as defensive midfield, that's what I'd try next.

The play is bright going forward. Just hope the team don't start to lose confidence in what they are doing. The worst thing that could happen is that they lose faith in the manager but that has happened many times before to Forest's cost.

A lucky win against the Blades would be just the tonic at the moment.

Been a long time since Forest faced Sheffield United. They have been stuck in the twilight zone of League zone at least twice as Forest were. It must have been horrendous!

They'll be full of it after hammering Wednesday at Hillsborough. Hope Wolves can bring them back to earth with a bump tonight.

Unfortunately not Will. They are beating Wolves,

If we can't beat S Utd we're in the mire.

Hobbs in defence won't solve anything. In fact switching none of the defence around will. It's the tactics. The defence are struggling with it. If we went Hobbs he'd have to just clear it each time as he can't pass and isn't mobile enough.

Fine by me btw, 10 ball players and a wall will be fine by me

That hope is not looking good at the moment, Will!!

FT - Sheff U 2 - Wolves 0

Yep, as soon as Wolves went down to 10, they weren't likely to trouble the Blades.

They're on a great run and now have the spotlight on them now they have jumped into second place. Will they be able to handle that? They were notorious for being a bit flakey during their years in the League 1 wilderness but Wilder seems to have got them in a good place.

Looking forward to seeing Billy Sharp. Still going strong up there. He was always great to watch at Forest despite his injury problems. I'm sure he will get a great reception from the Forest fans should he be playing.

We definitely need an early goal on Saturday. Against Fulham and against Villa, and possibly other matches it would have been a diferent game if we had scored early when we were playing well and on top.

We seem to have a good first twenty minutes and a good last fifteen minutes. It's the hour in between those two spells when we knock off that is the problem.

Personnel and formation isn't the issue. We have to be at it for the full ninety.

Fulham fans comments...

Not at our best, or they were better at times.

Wow how lucky were we. Think karma has balanced its self out. We deserved a draw at best.

We scored from the free kick against the run of play. The third goal was also against the run of play. But we have had to put up with dominating games so often and getting nothing that it is good we can score when we are up against it.

Sometimes you have to win ugly when not at our best.

Forest missed enough chances to have wrapped up the points before we scored our second.

Good win tonight, didn’t play that well, but showed grit in the end and even sneaked a winner with our backs against the wall!

We try to keep high line, but our team level pressure on the ball and keeping it tight with opposition players around the ball is not at the level where it should be. Forest showed us today, how it should be done, IMO.

Lucky to win tonight, but to be fair, you can say the opposite for many of our past games. Nice to win ugly for a change!

All in all, I thought Forest was the better team for possession and ideas. However, glad we were the recipients of 3 points, even if it was daylight robbery.

Maybe our luck is changing, about time we nicked 3 points from another team who were better on the night perhaps. As opposed to being mugged ourselves.

We were outplayed, funny old game.

Wow can't say we deserve this win.

We were over due some luck, mainly due to Forests woeful finishing.

Well, hopefully the balance of luck will shift back the Reds way starting on Saturday!
