Coming from the cunnnt who said England has a massive racial problem
Racism problem, racism
And provided evidence to back up my claim which is easy for me to do as I’m correct.
As shown in said articles were the facts and statistics I was asked to provide.
There’s non so blind as those who will not see!
Now then you provide facts and figures that there isn’t a rise in racism and a huge problem.
If you are correct you should have no problem demonstrating that.
With statistics and facts please 👍

Those articles didn’t prove there’s a huge problem. It proved there’s some issues, same as any other country.
Racism is prominent in England
......................
It doesn't even come remotely close to the USA.
The UK has most certainly become more tolerant that it was in the 70's.
I won't respond to your obvious trolling and strawmans again.
=========================================================
It's not a strawman, it's a reductio ad absurdum.
=====================================================
Its already at the point where businesses are actively recruiting minorities, not who is best for the job.
=====================================================
Businesses have never recruited who is best for the job, and still don't. The best of them manage a very rough approximation of it, but the UK is a long way short of being a meritocracy.
=====================================================
Universities are accepting students based on hard work and academic achievement
=====================================================
Ditto.
7% of people go to public schools, but over 50% of the Oxbridge intake is from private schools. Bit of a coincidence that all the hard-working academic achievers can afford a private education, what?
And along come black people and invert all this carefully-crafted meritocracy. You're not worried about bias, because there's already tons of it, you only care about who it's biased in favour of.
And can you tell me which sports stars you know of who wouldn't be sports stars if they weren't black? It would be interesting to know that...
(PS. I wasn't laughing at my own jokes...I never made any.... I was laughing at you).
Stretty - mr mourinho (U3123)
Grow up.
You have absolutely no idea about prejudice and racism in the UK.
You're an ignoramus who spouts this rubbish on a forum because he wouldn't have the balls to say it to someone's face.

Indeed but I think and the official statistics suggest it has become less tolerant in the last 18 months

To be fair, earlier on some of Stretty's points were quite valid.
Where he fails is when he tells you something that isn't and won't budge.
Racism certainly is not rife in the UK. It exists but doesn't come close to many other countries. USA, Russia, S Africa, Spain, Albania to name a few.
As we all know, Uruguay are quite happy to call black people ' Negro'.

Maybe so but racism covert and overt is on the rise.

It isn't hard to figure out why. But that is another whole new debate.

Agreed.
But with racism proved to be on the rise it’s a conversation that will soon have to be held.

......................
Enoch Powell had this conversation in 1968.
He was widely chastised for it and deemed to be racist by some.
But pretty much everything he warned against has happened because of over immigration.
How have I missed an article with Stretty, Winston and Viddy.
..............
I haven't been involved in it really GT.
This was my response to what was in the OP and the BBC report.
..........................
What this thread needs is a voice of reason.
Unfortunately you have got me.
What this is, is:-
1. Stupid
2. Very insulting
3. Condesending
4. Ignorant.
What this isn't is racist. I can understand why some think it is and that is down to being brought up in this PC culture where offence is found under every single stone.
I read the article and the girl in question isn't claiming it as racist either.
As we all know, Uruguay are quite happy to call black people ' Negro'.
=======================================================
So are Spain, and Australians are quite happy to use the word Paaki, but that is not evidence that they are racist. (Negro can also be offensive in South America and Spain, it depends how it's used).
Languages and dialects have their own contexts, and the same things are not necessarily racist in that context. Paaki is not racist in Australia, but it is in the UK.
That is not because the UK is more 'politically correct', it's because the word has developed in a different context, and effectively has a different cultural significance. It has never been used as an insult, in Australia.

ewton also found Aluko’s explanation for failing to provide details of her accusation to the FA at an earlier date “unsatisfactory”. However, her analysis of WhatsApp messages sent by Aluko to her team-mate Spence brought her to the conclusion that Aluko only came to appreciate in retrospect that the Ebola comment was racist, and that by the time of her May 2016 letter, she had forgotten about them. "
Imagine that, only thought they were racist in retrospect. absolutley farcical.

Out if interest, what makes it very insulting if it isn't the "racism" factor?

Yes, it means what it means.
And in Australia it means something different from what it means here.
Nor does 'Phanny' mean the same thing in America as it does here.
It's not all that hard to grasp, Stretty
