I’ve drawn a specific line in this regard mate. I’d like to think that you know where my moral standpoint is generally; I’m not an evil cntu I don’t enjoy loss of human life.
But I saw far too l few denouncements immediately after 7 October on here for my liking so I won’t respond to reasonable queries like yours as I would do until I see similar from many on here about what transpired on that Saturday morning.
Regardless of ‘who started it / who is right / who has killed more people / what this history is’, what happened that morning was quite clearly, to any reasonable person, abhorrent & immoral disgusting acts.
I think that rather than asking me now to condemn the IDF (which actually I have done including Israeli expansionism) I think you should first ask others on here to condemn what happened that day which may not have been the first example of filthy barbarism, but was most certainly a big escalation in this regard.
I hope that is clear

I’ll name one for him - Arab.
It's a weird stance to refuse to condemn something you say you would find abhorrent, because someone else refuses to condemn something else you find abhorrent.
I’ll give Boris a pass for his comment at the time as he later retracted it, I’ll take it as genuine as I have no reason not to, when the extent of what happened unfolded for him. He said something which was extreme AF but he doesn’t stand by that comment anymore, which is fair enough. We can all say and think things but later change our minds and I think that what Boris did.
But if you read back to when I first posted the news on that morning (it’s page 3654 if anyone wants to read that page and the following few pages) and you ask yourself - how many people simply said something along the lines of ‘fk me that is filth, this is wrong, I understand that they’re in a situation that I can barely comprehend and are desperate/angry/vengeful but this is way too far and it’s disgusting’ ?
Not enough of you guys, I’m sorry. You may say that it wasn’t necessary to say because obviously it was filth but that’s not good enough.
Israel is far from the good guys in this very long struggle but they’re not the only ones at fault. The other Arab nations, the suicide bombers, the rockets fired in the thousands, the anti semitism, the lack of empathy about the Jewish suffering which has gone on for far longer than any race I can think of. All it is on here is sympathy for the poor innocent Palestinian civilians who are awfully losing their lives, limbs, livelihoods over a conflict that they would likely set aside and live in peace if it were up to them. This is the same for Israelis.
As usual: money, power, control, energy is what is driving this. Not religion. No-one cared about the Middle East for centuries until oil became so vital. Now you have countries wanting to benefit from that energy supply and individuals wanting to benefit by selling that energy. The Joe Public doesn’t get that benefit a lot of the time, certainly not in Gaza.
As I said at the time - right wing zionistic Israeli government needs to get voted out and Hamas needs to go. As long as rockets are fired and Israel keep expanding with settlers, this situation won’t change.
I hope that is received as fair but probably not. I won’t lose sleep over it guys.

Whatever you like mate. Tbh I’ve pretty much answered your question in that post by referring to what I’ve said previously.
But I just don’t get why you would specifically ask me, whom you know to be a fairly reasonable person, to condemn the evil or wrongdoings of the IDF (especially when I already have previously) but not ask those who didn’t say a word after 7 October.
It’s not whataboutery, I’m querying why you would choose to ask me that without asking others at all.

It's a weird stance to refuse to condemn something you say you would find abhorrent, because someone else refuses to condemn something else you find abhorrent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really. I’ve pretty much answered his query by mentioning that I have already spoken against the filth carried out by the IDF and/or Israel.
I just find it hypocritical to say the least to ask me for that without asking others to condemn what Hamas did that day. So it works both ways, doesn’t it?
(Yes you’re not filtered anymore. No I don’t expect you to celebrate. Hopefully we can engage normally like we have on occasion. I just took particular offence to when you pondered as to whether I would support nuclear war against the Palestinians, I found it childish and silly).
Aa for Arab - I have no issue with him supporting the Palestinian cause whatsoever. He’s Arab ffs it’s natural to support a cause that is very similar to what his Iraqi family and friends have also suffered, that’s fine. It’s his choice, I’m not expecting or wanting him to even say that both parties are at fault for this long dispute.
But to not condemn what happened that day, regardless of allegiances, is just wrong for me and speaks to character a lot.
I don’t think he’s a bad person overall but this issue blinds him too much. He’s a husband, a son, a father so I know he has empathy; I just wish he could have expressed it for the innocent Israelis that died. Same goes for many on here. Far too few of you said anything, which is really quite bad gents, bad indeed. Go read page 3654 onwards…

I didn’t take it seriously, that official was immediately suspended etc. it was a stupid comment to make that would only inflame a delicate situation but it wasn’t a serious threat.
But there’s no way that you should actually think that I would support that Tam. That was just silly so I thought ‘ok fk reading this sheet’
And again, rather than worrying about me holding up to my own standards on that specific issue. Why would you not worry about many peoples’ standards or lack thereof to concern an actual set of events rather than a hypothetical one?
Do you really prioritise trying to catch me out with double-standards over wanting fair & reasonable humane standards by most if not all?
That’s what’s weird mate.

I like her.
If anyone wants to start a petition to award her an honorary Damehood I’ll sign it twice.

You probably liked Myra Hindley and are presently crushing on Lucy Letby.

Where’s Irma Grese is the poster girl for most on this thread.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you suggesting most on this thread are nahtzis (sic)? If so, be brave enough to come out and admit it, and name the posters who you are making that accusation towards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t know if any of you are Na zis, but you certainly have no love for Jews. I may have missed some of the posts, but I didn’t see many if any posts condemning pro-Palestine nobheads pulling down posters of kidnapped Jews.
Labour supporters think Jews are fair game

tell us again about your tolerance for brown people you feeble minded gaslighter.
There is no Jew hate on this thread, there is Muslim/immigrant hate from your angry self though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You think I hate Muslims because I dislike Islam, and yet you expect me to believe you don't hate Jews after calling Israelis racist cvnts? Please don't lie and say you never posted that, because I've already proved you did the last time you denied it. You hate Jews you racist piece of crap, and so do the majority on here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hate Right Wing Israelis, that doesn't mean I hate all Jews.
Using your logic, the Jewish people protesting against the IDF in Tel Aviv last night must all be anti-semetic Jew haters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Self hating Jews. At least that's what the Zionist s@um call them.

I just didn't think it was good enough that you didn't condemn the suggestion from an Israeli state official, even if you didn't think it was necessary as it was obviously wrong.
I mean, that's basically what you have said about everyone else on this thread, so we need to make sure you're maintaining your own standards.

I didn’t take it seriously, that official was immediately suspended etc. it was a stupid comment to make that would only inflame a delicate situation but it wasn’t a serious threat.
But there’s no way that you should actually think that I would support that Tam. That was just silly so I thought ‘ok fk reading this sheet’
posted on 17/12/23
And again, rather than worrying about me holding up to my own standards on that specific issue. Why would you not worry about many peoples’ standards or lack thereof to concern an actual set of events rather than a hypothetical one?
Do you really prioritise trying to catch me out with double-standards over wanting fair & reasonable humane standards by most if not all?
That’s what’s weird mate.
