Considering Chelsea were out of sorts,and generally conceeding goals for fun,the way we went about this match was appalling.Rashford and Lukaku dealing with nothing but thoughtless hoofs is embarrassing to watch.

How can we go forward when there is nothing progresive in our play with the ball.

In all honesty the result was not unpredictable. United would have had to put out their best XI and hoped hazard & kante didn't play, and luiz did, for united to get anything playing away against one of the two best teams in the league.

The absence of pogba and mata knackered the first part of that equation - compounded by the inclusion of the absolutely, totally and uniquely pointless herrera.

The man simply does not belong on the same pitch as any of the others out there.

all in all the result was disappointing but united were NEVER going to finish above city or chelsea this year. So what is important is to make sure the massive gaps in the squad are filled and move on to stay in the top four. A bad run, combined with a fluky run from afc or lfc, might just scupper another season
