Well it’s not just retail, also the utilization of advertising space around the pitch will no longer be taken up by SD for a pittance.

Ginger, it isn’t just one price, it depends we’re on the field, goal advertising can easily fetch 5k for a season with LED hoardings

So in 4 months 3m pure profit has been made on retail and advertising? When last year's turnover only increased by 7m in total??

By my (admittedly kerrydale calcs!) That would mean a retail and advertising turnover (at an unrealistically handsome 25% return) of 36m!

Or where am I getting it wrong?

The most significant highlight of the year was the successful conclusion of the Sports Direct litigation. “The settlement amount paid by the Club was 3 million pounds which is a great outcome that will yield many multiples of this in the years to come now that we have regained control of our retail asset, in fact we will get all of that back in the first year”
