I think Zhang should be called the Juggernaut now. Once you've vanquished an opponent you should be able to steal their nickname.

nah, Big Bang Zhang is a class nickname

Usyk Fury confirmed

I remain sceptical due to the nature of the current HW division.

If it happens, this will be one of the best years in boxing in recent times.

posted on 29/9/23

That’s why it they will fight next year…

Yeah no date yet, I can see why you are skeptical.

Wonder what date it will be called off?

Not believing it yet. Even if a fight has been signed, Fury could still go down the "mental health" route again.

Why are you guys so pessimistic and sceptical - fights between top 10 in HW div ALWAYs happen...........

I'll believe it when I see it as well. When Tyson Fury is involved you always have to be sceptical about if a fight ever materialises and in his case he has form ducking Usyk already. The guy constantly contradicts himself so you can't believe a word he says.

Benavidez vs Andrade set for November 25th

Good lord, what a year of boxing this could be, if Fury and Usyk end up fighting in December.

Canelo bullying Charlo 6 rounds in

posted on 1/10/23

That was a bit of a snooze fest.. partly due to Charlo stepping up in weight against someone far too comfortable and good in the weight class, and partly because Canelo was trying too hard, tried winding up too much and didn't box enough.

This will be one that's forgotten about within a couple of years.

easy points win for Canelo.
Charlo not string enough at super middleweight to trouble him

Watched the highlights this morning and there weren't really any apart from Charlo taking a knee.

What next for Canelo ? The winner of Benavidez Andrade ?

posted on 1/10/23

Easy work for Canelo. Charlo came to survive and nothing else.

Canelo vs Benavidez next.

Calling it now, Benavidez beats Canelo.

My word. Wood just stopped Warrington with a hail mary shot.

Brian ‘BoMac’ McIntyre is a FREE MAN as he has been given a 20-month suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty over his gun charges. Judge has waived the statutory five-year prison sentence due to mitigating circumstances and following testimony from character witnesses - including Terence Crawford who attended in person at Manchester Crown Court today. Good news for Bo Mac.

Further proof that the law doesn't work the same way for those with money.

yup especially given that i think he brought it over deliberately for protection.

The last time Bo Mac was in the UK he told people he was robbed, Im gonna guess he brought the gun for protection knowing that he wasnt allowed.

I agree that he brought it intentionally. How do you forget that you have a loaded gun in your suitcase?

The US airport officials have also dropped the ball.

I know he flew over privately and tried to fly back publicly. So Im assuming as it was on a private charter he didnt have to go through the same screening he would have for public flying.

Yeah when you fly privately like that there aren't the same kind of checks. Wouldn't be surprised if there are no checks at all in some cases. Was the same during Covid, the rich could still travel around as they pleased on private planes. All the drama and hassle is just for us general masses.

If you fly privately from a commercial airport then you are likely to still be screened and the usual searches that the public face. If you fly on a private plane from a private strip then there is zero checks.
