4 more wins will us promoted
Mixing the match threads in the big boys league will be a piece of cake for Halfy but will the threadsters have what it takes ?
I say yes, but time will tell
Just reading that 7 straight defeats for WBA is a new club record.....Agent Pulis fecked that club up more than I could possibly have wished for, well done agent Pulis, very well done

and experienced saboteur Pardew has finished the job nicely.
whilst albion fans spoke of Pardew's record of getting a quick response from struggling squads and seeing an immediate reaction in the results, i've been happy to observe the only reaction has been increasing disbelief and a the laughter of other teams' supporters

I'm old fashioned. I like my strikers to score goals

This is the problem with people like you.
You just don't understand that holding the ball up passing to other people is far more important than that old-fashioned scoring goals thingy
Pardew’s poor record as a manager stretches back to well before he came to manage Albion. He has only won 9 of his last 56 as a manager

Pardew has done a remarkable job for sure, he deserves a certificate or something !
Would be fantastic to see Pardew and Lambert relegated
Just saw the first half stats so are Wigan really outplaying Saints??
I actually just had a clean shave....first time in about 13-14 years, feck me it was tough and people do that daily
But at least you no longer look like the old man from the woods

It was a requirement for a visa as I was advised it may be declined if I had stubble.
West Brom could actually get less points than we did in our relegation season if they keep going.
Having watched the highlights and listened to Afobe's interview, credit where credit's due. He took his goals well, especially the first one. Now I'd like to see him up against better defenders and do the same thing.
We're nearly there lads.

Agent Pulis is working his magic at Middlesbrough now.
I see absolutely no reason to think that we can't go there and get 3 points. Yes, okay, they have gained 18 points from their last 10 games but the wins have been against Reading, Hull Leeds, Birmingham and Barnsley, with draws against Sheffield Wednesday, Brentford and Sunderland. With the exception of Brentford all of those teams are in the bottom half of the league.
Boro' Who are ya? Who are ya?
Colin’s no happy

yea, weekend just keeps on getting better
Last week Gary Rowett stated that his choice for Manager of the season was Colin.
This week Colin insinuates that Rowett had yesterday's game called off because of an injury crisis at Derby.
That's Colin off Gary's Christmas card list then!
****Today's game called off
If Colin’s team finish in the top two, then he probably is favourite for manager of the year. As good as Nuno has been, Colin has had far less resources to work with and no one expected them to last the pace.

That certainly has to be taken into consideration.
If Nuno does take us up as Champions, like Mick, you could ask whose was the better accomplishment, considering all factors.
Of course, we haven't finished the season yet, so it's too early to make any assessment just yet.
Possibly a discussion for the future.
Weren't Mick's team the biggest spenders that season whereas we aren't this season?

Depends if you look at transfer spend in isolation or net transfer spend. Nuno is the highest spender in terms of net spend this season, whilst Middlesbrough are the highest if you look at transfer fees spent in isolation; but not near us in net spend due to selling a few first team players.
Mick was the highest in isolation but only spent approx £1 million if you look at net spend, only going into negative net spend with the purchase of Berra in the January window.
Pick you preferred figures based on your agenda.
Well Mick's a dinosaur so Nuno wind then
