And totally agree, Selling Toby to a rival in the prem is suicide. We either pay him what he wants or we f*** him off to PSG, end of story.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
erm its not really the end of the story though... just because you agree a fee with PSG doesnt mean he has to go there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And jus because he decides he wants to go to, say Man U doesn't mean we have to sell him. He's still under contract.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think with the contract situation as it is, Spurs would be in a better position to dictate what happens than Toby
----------------------------------------------------------------------
did i misread that he can go for a lot less next season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100% misread. he would never go for a loss. he either goes for 50+mill this summer or 25 mill next summer. He would be 30 by this time and we signed him originally for 11mill
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i never said he would go for a loss.... but im sure i read somewhere there is a release clause that can be activated soon?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
oh shiiiiiiiiiiiit i misread everything

but yeah the extention with 25 mill release clause

is that next year?

im guessing Levy would rather sell to a top 6 team for 50 than lose him for 25 in 12 months time to the same team.

More than likely but he would still be in a string position when negotiating a deal because if Toby doesn't want to play ball, he may be scr*wing himself over.

doubt city will come in for Toby now and i cant see us selling to another prem team than them, considering how little their is between all of the sides below them.

If Poch signs a new contract which has been spoken about today then I'll be happy with only that signing.

No. Replacing proven with potential means we’ve weakened ourselves.

Sessegnon hasn’t played at LB for most of this season, yet apparently he’s going to be one for us?

This isn’t a FIFA game on the ps4

Sessengnon isnt a LB

Would like a RB and a LB brought in, two athletic freaks. Trust Poch to coach them up

Walker was one of a kind, but our lack of trophy possibilities and pay structure meant he had no other choice but want out.

what about LWB?

posted on 3/4/18

Hmm

Would need to see it written down.

Could you possibly show me how that looks in a line up?

Technically speaking, on Football Manager players have varying degrees of suitability in terms of position and roles so...

He’s earned rave reviews from playing LW this season, so to throw an 18 year-old into a role he’s not played in about a year is weakening us.

The app sucks mate, cant do any of that.

Tbf he has played both LW and LB this season. Whoscored specifying that he has played more as a LB than a LW https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322611/Show/Ryan-Sessegnon .

I wouldnt listen to all that sheite

Whoscored is just good for stats and all that, they are the ones who record what positions he has played in all season so are reliable.

okay that would explain their team of the season etc then

Their team of the season is always bizarre but it’s worth a look, it’s based purely on stats so busy defenders like The ones playing at Burnley always do better as they are busier than your Vertonghens or Otamendis. Good thing about stats though is they have no bias and can be an impartial look at players.

Some fans are so impatient it's unreal. We're competing with the richer clubs by spending smartly and yet there's calls for an injury prone, past his prime, 28 year old on massive wages to join and unbalance the wage structure completely. We need to gradually up the wage structure, not destroy it within one summer in the hope that it delivers us a trophy
