It's an achievement but less brilliant after the SW thread had already reached top spot a few months ago.

It's like the DCEU finally releasing Justice League after the MCU had already had succes with the Avengers.

Good news. The question now becomes,who directs the movie.

Yeah fantastic news. Looks like the plans going forward are huge. Apparently The Flash 2 has already been written. Don't forget about stuff like Constantine 2 which will also be a part of the DCEU.

Ping Pong Flix reporting that there are also multiple projects coming out stemming from Matt Reeves The Batman which is also great news. Both movies and TV shows.

Things are looking good for DC but as is always the case with them, executing their plans tends to be the difficult bit.

This is an entirely new company. Everyone that was involved with the previous movies has gone, including former boss Walter Hamada. Warner Bros Discovery is an entirely new company with entirely new people and I'm much more confident that we're going to get really good DC movies, without all the constant meddling and childish infighting from the previous regime.

I don't know if I agree with this though...especially if a pivotal character like the Penguin was in the movie, then drifting of into his own show.

Your main storyline, which is The Batman movies, loses it's appeal imo because characters are elsewhere doing their own thing.

Also how is the Penguin going to be the lord of the underworld now that Falcone is gone and Batman himself not catch onto it or just ignore it. A bit messy if you ask me

Sounds interesting. Not sure how it won't feature Batman in it, or maybe it will.

I'll be honest I'm not that overly excited by this Penguin tv series but I'm very interested in The Batman sequels with all the rogue's gallery of villains.

i mean itll focus on him taking over, no doubt there'd be resistance to a new guy in charge

the idea that batman has to suddenly appear every single time penguin does anything is quite silly, i suspect alot of what he does wont end up in the newspaper
