The ending was a great reveal. Butcher having those two sides of him play out in his head, almost like Eddie Brock and Venom or a Dr Jekyll and Hyde.

I think he will survive season 4 but his character arc cNnonly end in a redemptive death in season 5. I suspect his death will be incurred whilst trying to save Ryan, who then sees this and turns on Homelander.

Ryan will be the one to kill Homelander.

That's my prediction.
