It's just moral hypocrisy. Nobody is morally perfect but NPEE seems to the exception,based on his comments.

Its also targeted parents/families who they know will stump up for the kids

Spotify shows that if you price things correctly then most people are happy to pay.

From what I’ve heard Spotify is far from good to the artists...

They probably hate the poor aswell, set a price point where they can't view it

Perhaps I’ve heard similar I think. Iirc it’s on what trends and blows up etc? Not looked into it in all honesty but I meant from the consumer side and limiting piracy.

For the record, I agree with the notion that not paying does impact the creators and if you're a fan, your support is important to them.

But like many things, there are different factors are play that dilute the moral aspect. Namely the persons financial situation, companies overcharging and essentially robbing the consumers, which the directors and creatives accept because otherwise, they wouldn't work for these companies.

I think comics and movies provide great escapism from the problems that exist in the real world hence whydiscussing movies/comics should also be free of this weight.

As I said, you’re ultimately right, it is theft and perhaps people don’t like hearing it. Casting huge judgment as you are whilst may be justifiable is obviously going to ruffle feathers and I’m sure we can all agree that some of the outrageous costs are quite bad and whilst they may not excuse theft, it’s fair to say that they encourage it.

Agreed, Disney have my subscription, but I won't be gouged £30

Well NPEE did falsely accuse Pun of comparing Falcon & WS to Nolans Batman movies.

Let's be honest here, a morally righteous person would not even have a disney subscription or pay for any of their content because the company has a dark history.

But nobody here is morally perfect and it's a feckin pandemic out here, so do the best that you can do and continue moving forward.

My top 5 seems to always change but there's 3 constant movies that's:

Infinity War
Ragnarok
Doctor Strange

The other 2 spots could be at least between another 5 or 6 movies

Also regarding the streaming game. ALL of these streaming sites pay these artists peanuts. Literally every single one of them but almost everyone streams these days so these artists have no choice but to use these DSPs. The only time an artist will start to see some significant cash through DSP's is when they starting reaching millions of streams.

There's a streaming platform call Bandcamp though that puts some sort of power in the artists hands. They can upload their albums and most of the time they give your about 3 free 'streams' of the album and then you have to purchase the album at the price set by the artist to be able to stream that album again. There's also artists that sell physical copies of their work on Bandcamp through the messaging system. It's a nice app to use if you feel like you need to support your favourite artist.

Very interesting list. I like Dr Strange despite it not being as well received as others. I enjoyed Ragnarok as a movie but not as a Thor movie.
