Can you explain your love for the Batman, im genuinely perplexed after i watched it so many loved it. I almost fell asleep

It was an atmospheric, well-written noir movie with Batman operating closer to the detective that he is in the comics. I enjoyed the slow-burn nature of it.

If anything it was when the flood kicked in that I think it went a little off the rails.

I thought The Batman was a solid movie. I enjoyed the ground level nature and the darker Gotham that we saw. It felt less like a comic book movie and more like a detective mystery, which is what Batman is. However, the nature of the film makes it have little to no, rewatch value.

The Batman was good. The best thing about it was Gotham felt like a genuine shiiithole.

My biggest gripe was that tool to lift the carpet being the link to The Riddler's master plan. There were no clues (that I saw) that linked to that tool being the key...it was just laying there.

The look and feel of Gotham in The Batman is very good and one thing the movie definitely gets right. Better than say Nolan's iteration which is basically just Chicago lol. Or Croydon which is where some of it was filmed I believe lol
