It looks very possible if Gunn is saying it. Although it's not a proper direct sequel to Superman which is exactly what I cast doubts over happening. This sounds more like Superman and friends.

Not sure what's happening with The Authority, Booster Gold, Waller and Swamp Thing though after they were officially announced. They seem to be in limbo for whatever reason.

The Authority sounds like it's in limbo:

“It’s been rough for us,” Gunn said. “I moved…the writer moved on to another project in the DCU that I think he’s really killing right now.”

He also said he spoke to Mangold about Swamp Thing, but he hasn't delivered Gunn a script yet ("He’s been distracted with his billions of movies" ).

Not sure on the other projects.

Mr Terrific being considered as a TV show I read in that article Pun posted aboot Booster Gold.

But yeah this isn't the approach I'd have gone with rebooting a DC universe with all these lesser known characters.
