Ok, so let’s say your maths are correct.
No Marvel/DC film comes close to touching those two films greatness.
And look at the amount of characters they have.
Again, we talking levels here.

Sorry, but they do - A New Hope is a very important film but it's pretty ropey in places, I would definitely put the best comic book movies up with it.

Empire Strikes Back is very good, and probably has the edge as one movie over the best of comic books...

but in terms of consistently good movies - comic books are way ahead and this is just an exception that proves the rule tbh.

I wouldn't even put Star Wars in my top five 'story worlds' as it were - when I was a kid being a time traveller, wizard or badazz archer were all more appealing to me than a monk with a glowy sword.
