“no
they back up that variations in success have an impact and that nether of the old firm were loyal when they weren't winning as much ”
What variations in success did we have between div 3 and div 2 and last season. And what variation was there in attendances

im sorry - did you not win the leagues during those seasons?”
Nope. We win the league in two of those three seasons.
Yet the attendance figures barely moved.
So again, can you show me with workings how success impacted and varied the attendances?

You mean over a 3 year period that you have cherry picked? Because you haven't used the entire "wilderness" period have you?
isn't it correct that the one season your attendances dropped significantly you were unsuccessful in the lower leagues?
because that seems like a clear link to me.
As does the entire - entire - history of celtic and rangers for the past 40 years
Now I don't doubt that you can attribute an uplift for competing in the top flight - which makes, from a statistical perspective, the last 5 or 6 years almost impossible to draw a conclusion from. An accurate statement would be that during your "troubled" years (im failing to see how that can be described as your last 2 years in the top flight) your attendances dropped significantly when you didn't win silverware.
The only conclusion then can be drawn from the wider sample. Which clearly shows - without any doubt - that attendances are linked to success. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous
