Think we missed Cooper, Ayling not getting forward as much was a minus for us
Still a points a point and BPF did well to get us that.

Phillip has had the run of the games
When put under pressure, he is what he’s is, slow and can’t tackle
________
I dont disagree, but would you have dropped him before the game?
Cause I wouldnt have done, it was the correct call to take him off
Hope we get a CB in. Look too weak at the back

Good asset for Leeds United
-------
He's a Manchester City asset.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Contractually he's our asset for the season whichever way you look at it.
No chance I would have dropped him.
And I might even start him next game, as to not knock his confidence.
But I don’t rate the player, need better for me
But happy for him to prove me wrong and play brilliant rest of season
I don't think Harrison was great tonight, but thought he had more of a positive impact than Alioski did 1st half.
Philips has always been a hit and miss player. Was hoping Bielsa might have finally sorted him out but after tonight im not so sure

Agreed, needs to get confidence back, it appears.
Look at that last through ball to him, he runs onto it around top of penalty area, should have hit it first time, instead took a touch to control. Confident striker shoots first time and likely scores!
Never mind, I think he will come good with adjustment to this division and some playing time.
Good perm signing at end of season?

He’s very left footed and was trying to get it in his left. A confident player would have just hit it.
Early days for him to fit in with the style of play.
Shackleton a big plus tonight.
Baker looked good when he came on
Bamford made a difference and seems to run the channels
Defenders grafted against the odds.
Negatives
Douglas was poor
Keeper mixed but 2 mistakes already
Berardo decent but lack of height a problem
Midfield had no control Phillips poor
Still feel we are lack a creative midfielder and a powerful defender.
Denton had a fantastic first game too.
Not convinced he is the answer this season
Disappointed that we didn't play to the best of our abilities but credit to Swansea for controlling the game.
Disappointed but we took a point, fought back twice and could have nicked three points at the death.
We're top after four games. Means nowt but I'll take this rather than be looking for our first point.
I agree with others, might just be the catalyst to see a couple of additional players through the door this week.

Doesn't have to be, he is a backup choice. Might only be third choice once all players are fully fit and available!
Don’t get yhevskating of Philips here.
A couple of days ago everyone raving about him everyone agreeing with Bielsa’s assessment if his important he is.
He was subbed today as Bielsa was worried about the card and was up against Celina.
Last season we would have lost this game. The team is plating way way better. Not the performance as against Stoke or Derby, but there is a resilience about this team that was lacking last season and the team will get better. We had no out and out centre backs tonight and it showed particularly for their second goal. No aerial challenge whatsoever to McBurnie. We look vulnerable to high balls into our box. Berardi is too short against tall forwards. Despite this, we still got a deserved point against a good team away from home. Can’t win them all and I’ll take that point any day of the week.

Tough one. I’ll take a draw but at times we look unbeatable. Swansea on Friday were terrible.
All points to a Swansea win
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Glad I was half correct
Just about a perfect summation there Peak.
Could add we saw the nous and experience of a superb manager when changes were needed.
Fer ran the game, we got a great result from a very difficult game, both teams can only get batter, good time to play the jack at home. Philips was not onit today & then the card came too soon so Bielsa made a good decision.
Nothing else to say, onto next game.
Phillips looked like a red card waiting to happen. Good call by Bielsa and Baker repaid the trust put in him. We played without our 2 centre backs against one of the best sides in the division, at their own place, in front of a full house. In the last 10 minutes, we had chances to win. Harrison, Baker and Bamford are buying into this and look like they want to play. They will get better. We looked like a team tonight. Not at our best, but prepared to battle it out. We showed terrific character tonight, and Bielsa made courageous calls at the right time. MOT.
Refreshing to see Bielsa not afraid to make early changes, would be interesting to hear from players ever hslf time was like.

Absolutely JLA. It was a good decision to take Philips off once he got the yellow card. He sure as hell would have got another one had he stayed on given his role and the way Swansea were playing.
When I saw Phillips go off so early it’s just another moment where you think, finally a proper manager.
He WOULD have got the Red and we WOULD have lost season.
Onto the next 👍

He's our asset for the duration of this season.
If you had your first choice cb you would have won the game. You dominated the ball and had most of the possesion of the ball.
Swansea had one big chance in the second half but you made them poor.
If you can add some players to rotate in the upcoming games you have the chance to finish first or second.
