Personally I don't really care whether someone even plays football or not, never mind what club they play for; drink driving is never acceptable.

Very commendable that every Spurs fan to a man is absolutely condemning Lloris for drink driving, as they should be. Whereas nearly every Liverpool fans were backing up Mo Salah for being caught on a mobile fan whilst at the wheel of a car.

Did you know you can be done for sitting in a car drunk with the keys in your pocket? Most people don't, as do most people not realise that sitting in a stationary car in your phone is illegal.
Driving while drinking and using mobile while drinking are dangerous and indefensible. Sitting in a parked car while drunk or using a mobile while in a stationary car is just stupid and ignorant of the law. Happy to clear up the difference for you (as always).

Got to love the outrage. Can every person on this forum put their hand on their heart and say they've never driven after a couple of pints? Or handled stolen good? Or ever used their mobile while driving? Or taken an illegal drug? Or fiddled an insurance claim or expenses claim etc.? Or got into a fight on a night out? We all do it to some degree or other, some more than others, yet when a footballer does it everybody is quick to judge and gasp in horror.
If Hugo had 3 pints then thought "fack it I'm fine it's only ten minutes home, don't wanna leave the Lambo here" then I don't really have an issue with that, we've all done it and he's just been unlucky. Obviously if he was steaming drunk falling over then that's a bit different.

Got to love the outrage. Can every person on this forum put their hand on their heart and say they've never driven after a couple of pints? Or handled stolen good? Or ever used their mobile while driving? Or taken an illegal drug? Or fiddled an insurance claim or expenses claim etc.? Or got into a fight on a night out? We all do it to some degree or other, some more than others, yet when a footballer does it everybody is quick to judge and gasp in horror.
If Hugo had 3 pints then thought "fack it I'm fine it's only ten minutes home, don't wanna leave the Lambo here" then I don't really have an issue with that, we've all done it and he's just been unlucky. Obviously if he was steaming drunk falling over then that's a bit different.
