We need a longterm succesor for Lloris anyway.

It's difficult for clubs to support players plublicly when these things happen.

As a pro, he'll have to accept any punishment he receives from the club.

Yeah I'm not a fan of strikers or keepers being captains. Should be a defender or midfielder so they are in the middle of the action and can communicate with all of his teammates easily.

I don’t think it’s a true story is all , he will probably be given a fine by Levy to help pay for the rest of the stadium. If true the only two players who deserve it are Verts or Dier.

Just had a thought if it is true might be away of giving it to the Toby and persuade him to a new contract?

Jan or Dier should be captain.
I'm leaning towards Dier. No way should Kane be made Captain.

Didn’t we have all this when it happened that he was losing the captaincy and being dropped for it not to happen.

Its indefensible, without doubt. But had spurs not bothered changing captaincy nobody would have batted an eyelid.

The club maybe saw it an a good excuse and time to hand Kane the captaincy though.

We haven’t changed captaincy

yeah its only paper rubbish , Lloris will stay captain. But Kane will defo always be captain when Lloris isnt.

Think Spurs have handled this well if all true. £250k is a bit OTT imo though.
