Think Spurs have handled this well if all true. £250k is a bit OTT imo though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Two weeks wages
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Regardless it's a quarter of a million pounds plus another £50k from the court.

If you can’t pay the fine, don’t do the crime.

£300,000. Seems fair enough.

Tbh it’s the first time I’ve heard the club fine amount but I think it’s oretyy reasonable considering the bad press it bought into him and the club.

Didn’t we have all this when it happened that he was losing the captaincy and being dropped for it not to happen.

Poch has already said the matter is over for the club
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty much exactly this

Don't think it is two weeks wages anyway. He is on 80k according to a few sites - so that is closer to 40k after tax.

I wish I could have a footballers monthly wage , I’d take a year or two off.

Kane will get the captaincy as a sweetener to encourage him to stay.

Why, where's he going?

Hugo has started this season well but in general he makes too many mistakes for a so called "top keeper", if the club want to use this as an opportunity to off load him then that works for me.

Drink driving is never good but for a man living in London on his salary its bonkers.

No idea. The shops?

But he's less likely to leave the club if he's also captain - that will absolutely play into the clubs thinking when appointing a new captain.

You don't need to be so defensive chief. It's just obvious logic being applied.

He's not likely to be leaving even if he's not made captain though... Unless you've heard otherwise?

Kane is the captain in all but name anyway. He's the go to man.

I thought so too.

He was our highest earner before Kane's deal.

If that is so, it will still be half of that after tax innit.

Whether you've had a crime free life or not its easy to see that man in his 30's who has been on the booze and earns a fortune should order a taxi. You would of thought that he would of realised this himself when he yakked up in his car.
