you have to sit and enjoy the coaching and the triangles

the way they move into space after passing

weve got some decent coaches at the club

Just watched the highlights, those two assists in the second half were a thing of beauty.

Roberts first touch for his first was superb, knew exactly what he was going to do.

There's always room for improvement, but there is not a supporter in the Championship who doesn't wish he was a Leeds fan. We have had such an awful time since we were relegated, we are naturally cautious when it comes to evaluating our team. So let's do what every player and manager says we should do, and take it one game at a time. I'm loving every minute of it.

Quite frightening as well when you know we've got Pablo, Roofe, Bamford and Brown to come back...…..we have developed a very good squad of players under the radar

I don't mind playing out from the back and if you've read any of my posts in the past you'll know I can't stand hoofball.

My point is they over do it on more than one occasion, Cooper did it last night as he did against Rotherham drawing criticism. We didn't overdo it in the first two games....

No-one saying route one is the way we should be playing Wakey, just that, after years of being awful at the back, it takes some getting used to. Leads to nervy moments.
The fact that under too many managers we've just played hoofball probably led to us having a leaky defence as the ball just kept coming back.
Bielsa has clearly worked on building the confidence of the lads at the back so that they can deal with what comes their way, the playing out from the back is evidence of that.
Years of conditioning just makes me nervous, I expect it all to come unstuck.
As the guys get more confident and competent I will become more used to it and less anxious as will others.

will you , or when we concede from it , will you start begging for the hoof.

I’m not a believer in destined, but just imagine fir a moment that Roberts had been fit from word go.

He scores some goals last season. We win some more games last season. Heckingbottom isn’t sacked....

Couldn’t be happier with Bielsa. AR’s gamble is paying off and hope club are doing all they can to extend his contract.

On playing side, really happy that Philips is getting praise after so much criticism and that Saiz is putting in so much effort, his running and harrying players is really leading by example.

Also, great that Harrison getting game time now, again some fate giving him the chance, but it’s just what he needed and proving to be a better loanee than I thought he’d be.

And BPF, another clean sheet, more experience, and again helping us win points.

We needed that win after the draws and if we get 3 more points v Birmingham then I think our odds for promotion will tumble.

Roberts I thought played excellent without ever looking likely to score.

Then pops up with two goals.

Very very good news.

Even I’m starting to believe.
The Roberts goals were massive for the season

harrison is a different animal on the right wing compared to left.

looked pretty lost on that side for the couple of games he played.

much better wide right and proving a very capable alternative to pablo.

looks fit and strong, i like him

Yeah he's good on the ball, gets in the right places, in and out the box

On another note, a couple of reasons from last night why certain Leeds fans are some of the worst in the world:

"make a sub for **** sake and get him off"……..after 20 minutes last night a bloke behind me re: Tyler Roberts

"I'm getting fed up of playing all this dominant football and not doing anything with it"...……...another bloke just before the Cooper goal.

WHAT DO SOME FANS WANT?? Baffles me why certain people even go to games if I'm honest

Geldard, same as off the field... some fans are just negative no matter what. Or the first to point the finger at the club.

I know a lots been made of Bielsa never having a 'top' job, but does anyone else get the feeling its not something that would really interest him anyway?

He is a complete footballing romantic who is attracted by passionate fallen giants and not by money and trophies.

hmmmm pretty sure he would of loved those trophies in the finals with bilbao.

hes clearly never been good enough or whatever for a barca, madrid or top 6 prem job

but hes way to good to be in the championship on the evidence so far.

The best teams that play out of the back have the ability to go long as well, after you've drawn the opposition forward to.rxploit the space behind. That's why Man city are so lethal.

Re Bielsa not getting top jobs, I think it’s as simple as his face just not fitting.

Our football is as direct as Warnock or Pulis teams. Just we play on the ground. Every pass is looking to get it forward, always about how we can attack, not just keeping the ball. The players wait for the right opening.

Complete polar opposite to our possession game early season under Christiansen where it was pointless, slow passing behind keeper and centre backs.
