why do people watch pre season, its just basically a fitness drill
Get a flavour of the different types of formations/tactics Lamps will adopt. Which positions he plays certain players.
Which players ultimately he should keep and ones he can let go.

Yup it isn't massively worth watching. I might watch the Barca game if it's on at a reasonable time but any other friendlies I'll probably give a miss now.
All the matters is that the team are ready for Utd and then for Pool in the Super Cup.
