Overall a pretty disappointing world championships imo.

Thought it was really good tournament tbh most open for years and the standard and quality was so high, was no guaranteed matches.

Will still give Smith player of the tournament

I’ve enjoyed it. Some great darts and upsets. Final and Anderson semi was a bit of a disappointment. But MVG is just too good.

match of the tournament goes to Aspinall v Smith.

Lewis v MVG & Henderson v Smith were two other really good ones though

I felt while all the upsets are enjoyable at the time it took away from the latter stages of the tournament.

It was a good tournament imo. Saying that, I don't like the 1st and 2nd round schedule. I understand the need to have the big guns on from the start, but it just doesn't flow well. Some play 2 games in one night, others play 5 days apart.

Aspinall was a revelation

Enjoyed the women in it. They should expand it to 4 women

I also think it gave the lesser plays a slight advantage on the seeded players having already had one game under their belt.

Wright reminds me of colin lloyd, got a high ranking but never does fack all on TV
