Kane and Aguero

IMO Aguero is better but someone said Kane was 'not even close' to Aguero on the match thread tonight, which is a ridiculous comment

Ronaldo had 450 goals in 438 appearances for Madrid, Aguero and Kane are great but they aren't even close to him.

I mean when fully fit I think Aguero is better. But based on age and injury record I'd much rather have Kane

Loco, I never said Kane is like Ronaldo mate. I said Ronaldo like goal scoring record and it’s not far.

Palmers, I know mate so ridiculous

What is wrong with people saying Aguero is better than Kane? He is. He is easily in the top 5 PL strikers of all time. Nobody thinks of Kane when that discussion comes up. Kane is still a very good striker and top 3 in the league

I agree about the competition, it's pointless and both great strikers.

I don't know why but I just don't enjoy watching Kane play (although the check back curler last week was quality). I don't Cavani or Mario Gomez either. Obviously if they were banging in 30 a season for Liverpool I doubtless appreciate them more.

No it wasn’t “ Aguero is better “ mate. It was “ Aguero is MILES better “ and “ Aguero has so much more to his game “ , when clearly that’s a load of bulls***. If someone had said “ I think I prefer Aguero, I think he’s slightly better than Kane” then fair enough, but to claim he’s miles better is laughable and bitter

You did say Kane could literally score from anywhere though.

Kane can literally score from anywhere. Scores goals of all kinds. Unbelievable with his head ( certainly better than Aguero at that, brilliantly accurate at long shots, can score with his weak foot and is a superb finisher. Kane is the best striker in Europe for me.

Not to get into semantics but he can't.

Both take their shots early though which all the best strikers do. Both hit it cleanly. Kane has a better left foot.

Both world class. I’d obviously have Kane over Aguero but Aguero will go down as one of the best ever ( so will Kane if he carries on like he has )

Totally agree henge, both world class

I think Kane is in the same category as van Nistelrooy

Having a skill that is primarily being in the right place at the right time just isn't even half as entertaining or exciting as someone who can dribble past players or have a bit of samba

Lampard is the same as well

30 tap ins, rebounds, or headers will never rival a nutmeg or dazzling touch before a goal

It's about entertainment more than numbers

Ace, I know mate. Thought it was ridiculous and I think it was a Chelsea fan who said it to. Couldn’t get more bitter than a ch** Chelsea fan trying to put down a class striker in Kane.

Nah he has more to his game than Ruud and Kame doesn’t just score tap ins. Did you see his bloody goal against Wolves ?

Aguero at his best is better than Kane at his best. He can do things Kane cannot, whereas realistically Kane only has being better in the air.

That said, I’d take Kane right now but only due to age. Otherwise aguero is the better player.

Both are class though.

I don’t think Aguero can do anything Kane can’t tbh but I think Kane can do better hold up and link up play.

Also those that think Kane is a tap in merchant are beyond clueless

Actually Aguero probably better at running in behind defenders than Kane is.

Kane is actually a very decent mid to long rang passer as well, something which appears to go unnoticed

I'm honestly not here on the wind up. I genuinely think, on balance, Kane isn't as exciting to watch and his goals aren't as special looking

But a goal is a goal. If I was a manager, I'd break the bank for Kane.

As a MOTD watcher, I'd probably watch an Aguero goal if I was only allowed to watch his or Kane's.

Kane is brilliant. I don’t think he’s playing at the level he was a couple of seasons ago though, where his all round game was better and he was scoring all types of goals. Still a top striker. Aguero is probably better in that he’s a more devastating player when on his game. I think Aguero can do most of what Kane does but Kane can’t destroy a team with his pace and dribbling ability as they aren’t on the same level in that regard, he relies more on his teammates than the Argentine.
