Liverpool were gifted a goal by the Palace keeper yesterday, twice in a season you have benefited. Hey, these things happen but you have to take the opportunities.
We pretty much dominated Palace. 4-3 flattered them.
Brighton last week was one of the most one sided 1 nil you will get.
There is no stumbling from us.
Stumble to 3 points most weeks
———
Ludicrous claim.
Just because there’s only one goal in a result doesn’t mean we’re stumbling to 3 points.
We’ve been the superior team in nearly all our games this season.
Strange era we're in at the moment where a 4 point lead in the middle of Jan looks like quite a big one. Liverpool's ruthlessness this season against sides outside the top 6 is unprecedented, it has to be said.
The likes of Everton and West Ham are capable of taking points off them at home, but City have to be nigh-on perfect from here you feel. Hate to say it but it looks like it finally is their year.
City have been here before.
Not throwing in the towel just yet.
Still think City will win it.

Not giving up Boris, very far from it. Hate the thought of needing the Rags to do us a favour but I suppose they have to be good for something once a season.

Are you claiming the penalty against Brighton wasn't a penalty? I literally don't think I've seen one person say that. Some may have claimed Salah made the most of it, but it 100% a pen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, it was a definite pen.
I assumed the poster I was replying to thought Liverpool had a pen yesterday, after Salah's dive,

We've temporarily passed the baton on to you to keep those filthy rats off our trophy and you're now relying on us ??? Priceless.
As it happens I think we might just give you what you seek. Ole will have us fired up for that game for sure.
The Derby looks like being put back to the final few weeks of the season too. That game could be HUGE. Will feel very wierd for us because we might need the pts for CL and you will need them for the title and if we take pts off you we know that helps the rats out. Urgggh!
We will gladly win it Eric but it certainly isn't United's trophy. Been many years since they had their mitts on it, almost worthy of a banner if our fans were childish.
Meanwhile, you just concentrate on giving Liverpool a good spanking.
Next fixtures are interesting because for the first time since closing the gap we play the day before them. They are at home though I think, and just don’t look like dropping points there at the moment.

They have winners mentality
The commentators were critical of City's general pace in the first half today but we have another 3 games before Liverpool play again.
No excuse for the sloppy passing though.

I think open games against Ole's united are precisely the type of games that Liverpool will excell in. If Liverpool can carve City open, they will rip united a new one. What I think Liverpool wont handle is the atmosphere and the emotions on the day.I still expect Liverpool to dominate united on the day but mess it up with a stupid mistake and draw the game.
United are not good enough to beat Liverpool at the moment.
Talking of pressure, the pressure is way more on Liverpool than City even with the 4 point lead. The significance of a 1st premier league title and the expectation.
City have a good chance of winning 3 other trophies, Liverpool only really have one shot at the PL. The rest days are significant. As the May draws closer the nerves will kick in big time.
Bayern also looms large and will test a few squad members, defence will be tested, Allisson will be tested against top attackers. I feel the quality in the premier league outside the top 6 has been really bad.
Even with Barca and Real at the lowest I still think only City and Liverpool can possibly beat them" and thats a big if"
Still think Liverpool have done a brilliant job, being chased by this City side is not easy.City are still a better team than them but they have kept them at bay for almost 2 months now
