Brown, Boyata, Jozo & Izzy were all awful, seriously awful. I would have added Christie to that but he didn't even do enough to be awful. McGregor had a poor game by his standards but still did more than most. Burke couldn't hold anything in, but he was out of position and was involved the one time we looked mildly threatening.

Don't think you can say anyone played well but Forrest and Sinclair tried but had nothing to work with. Toljan at least put himself about a bit, Eddie and Weah got involved when they came on hit not to any great effect.

I hate how scared we look on this stage. Brown’s passing last night was an absolute embarrassment for a professional footballer.

Display was good to be fair.

If the players put that amount of effort into their performance we might have done better.

last night was imo a typical europeam performance from us under rodgers

a team of gutless schitebags who are terrified to make runs or pass the ball into their opponents half.

u could tell where each and every pass waa going last night, boyata to simunovic, to izzy, to simunovic, to boyata, to toljan.

unimaginative, boring, schitebag, phish.

people can say what they like about ajer, at least that young lad has the baws to try and carry the ball forward.

boring, boring, boring.

parkhead is no longed a fortress in europe.

2 got pass marks for me last night, toljan and sinclair.

That’s what spending £160m on a team gets you. Their bench cost 3x our full team including our subs.

It’s hard to compete against that. Still disappointing to lose so meekly but that’s where the footballing world is at now.

We were beaten by a better team, not denying that. I didn't expect to get through the tie either way but there's ways to lose, we could have at least gone down swinging.

As good as we made them look, it's not exactly the greatest Valencia team ever.

Stick Bain in midfield for the away leg and put Gordon back in goals. Bain was probably the only one that completed more than 3 forward passes

Take it on the chin,Celtic simply never turned up,beat by a better team,no shame in that,thought Valencia playe well at times,some of their one touch was a joy to watch,Bains save was a cracker,Broon had a mare,Cal mac and forrest were poor,Sinclair was playing well before being hooked,tall order over there,you just never know tho!

Also, Rodgers needs to scrap that "take it on the chin" patter. Triggering my PTSD from the Mowbray season.

Christie backing up the point I made on here recently, he’s done well but for me he isn’t at the level we should be aspiring too

Forrest was the only one for me who looked good

Toljan played like lustig in Europe, must’ve played the ball out the park about 8 times n the other 20 he punted it to their centre halves

Question marks over McGregor and I’m his biggest fan, edouard a mean came on and lost the ball but for me done more than Burke in his first 5 minutes

The thing that confuses me most is why we continuiouslly play out from the back with no thought process.

Burke Edouard and Weah all up front and we pass it out to brown.

They had 6 players in our third of the park last night whilst bain had possession, and we didnt launch it at 1 - 0 down. Its absolutely insane.

One shot on target n it was in the first 10 mins where we actually looked a half decent side

But the minute you let these teams settle you’re goosed

We don’t get in teams faces anymore at home, we’re a poundshop version of whoever we play it’s similar to Deilas team in Europe

See with 20 minutes to go last night, the lack of urgency in our play was total defeated attitude garbage.

I want us to keep going regardless of the score, I’d rather lose 4-0 and go for it than lose 2-0 with us playing keep baw between our flucking back 4!!

We’re that easy to play against that if we actually mix it up from time to time we might stand a chance in these games
