See i think refs are made to look pi$h cos they are expected to get everything correct that wasnt really the case years ago... the game was more forgiving in terms of letting things go.
They werent any where near as scrutinised as they are now.
The game isnt the same as it once was but the tools and assistance the refs get is exactly the same.
Give any person in any line of work a more difficult job to do and no extra help to do it and what do you think the results will be?

I have asked the question and given the reasons behind my OPINION.....suppose i can say typical tim just thinks there is bias and refuse to be reasonable.
I have said that i dont think they are any worse than they have ever been.

Refs make mistakes everywhere, here probably too many in comparison.
The rules need clarified for retrospective action.
We've been shafted plenty this season by the refs, mad to think that the paranoia stemmed from the Tims getting the ball moving as they've been let off.
In all seriousness the OP does have a point. Of course it is harder for them, but they should be better trained and not fast tracked, to allow them every chance and not making a rip roaring cant of the most basic decisions.

As i think the bold CT has mentioned before, none of them pretty much has no experience of playing the game so that also does not help.
Even leaving aside the paranoia, folk are always moaning about refs.
We should make every effort to find the resources for VAR.
Will be a laugh when VAR comes in and Celtic start getting treated fairly.
Least cards this season, no incidents in front of the compliance officer than i can remember, no red cards that have later been rescinded but they still play the victim. Typical
Full time refs, VAR and none of the daft panels and stuff, once the games done its done.
