Tiddles, I think playing at Old Trafford often gets to your players. Your record there is terrible. I don’t know why so many Liverpool fans were confident they could just show up and get the win. That was never going to happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah i have no idea either tbh. Can’t remember the last time we played well there, even when you had Moyes and we won 3-0 we still weren’t very good. We got 3 pens.
I’m fine with the point as that’s the most i expected us to get, i thought we might be a bit better than that tho
Was Firmino playing? He’s been crap this season. Him being out of form has made a big difference to Liverpool’s attack not looking so good this year, as he compliments Salah and Mane well when he’s at it. That sad, I do think Liverpool could get even better if they had a quality striker. Firmino isn’t a top class striker, in my opinion.

They don’t look anything special at all. We would have beaten them wth a full strength side.
Ole made a big mistake in bringing on Lingard imo and I thought our right hand side were pure trash. Lukaku put some decent balls in but his overall play was shocking and the less said about Young the better. That whole right hand side needs revamping in the summer imo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True, for all their meaningless possession and expended energy, they really created nothing of note, I honestly can't recall a moment where De Gea had to use his hands
Their lead at the top has slowly eroded and based on that performance and the non showing of any of their strikers I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish the season 3rd
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nonsense
Another Liverpool United bore draw and as always United the happier of the two. Says all you need to know about the demise of United to be honest.

He’s been patchy this season, some games he’s his usual self and others he’s anonymous. Actually thought he looked up for it before he went off, just wasn’t getting enough ball.
Klopp has played him a lot in behind Salah as the number 10 and he’s nowhere near as good there as he is as the 9 and a half.

a bit bizarre that the countinho transfer seems to have been a lose/lose for both parties.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really, we've done rather well without him.
I think Man United is not far of challenging for the league but this City team will dominate in the coming years.
Firmino is the player who makes our attacking play tick. He works hard and is the best striker in linking the defence with the attack.
We played with 10 players when Studge came on.

To an extent - but he’s the x factor who may have had you further ahead of where you are
That was the worst Liverpool performance of the season. So much they talk about their fab line - Mane, Sturridge, Firmino, and Salah hit a brick wall all day long.
One team with mounting injuries - trying to win
Another team accepted a 1 point draw early on - the pressure is certainly showing and city are favourites now imo
Were better without coutinho, it’s not even a debate. So much of our play was through him and relied on him dribbling past players. We pass the ball more and are quicker without him, our side is generally more balanced too.
Liverpool had Injuries too. Our first choice RB wasn't fully fit. Our first choice CB was out. Firminho (who was best player today out of our front 3) came off injured - yet United still had Sanchez, Ashford, Lukaka, Pogba but did F all except Sat back in fear and parked the bus. Negative Mourhino tactics. How they have fallen celebrating a single solitary point at home.

We can easily rival that Liverpool team next season with minimal tweaks in the summer
=======================
That was by some distance Liverpool's worst attacking display this season.
If you believe that performance is a true reflection of how they are generally, then yes, you may be able to match them.
But we both know it isn't.

I doubt any of us was thrilled of the idea of a single point. It is the respect we shown to the team and management of the coaches when 4 injuries mount within 45 or so minutes.
We wanted to win with what we've got on the pitch - almost nicked a goal at the end.
Absolutely astonishing defensive game today - nullified your fab line to zero.
With all the team ready hopefully the next encounter and the way you've been playing lately - we would batter you no doubt
Liverpool miss Coutinho in the big games. He often turned up. And has that bit of magic to make the difference in tight games like today.
You could expect a team to not just attempt to (and fail to) grind out points. When has Liverpool's current policy of throwing away easy points like confetti ever been successful? And yes, today was two easy points thrown away. Champions win those matches.
Liverpool are just holding back. Apparently
