Not annoyed at all. Agreed with time on here at the time you may well get more for him than that. Albeit his second season wasn't as good so probably fair.

Why would we be annoyed that you got a lot less for Dembele than you should have done?
I think Robertson referenced Dembele because he has been the bench mark over the past couple of seasons. And he has shown that a striker from our league could move on for that sort of cash. So in his view a similar fee for Morelos is realistic.
I don't necessarily agree with him on the valuation.
I would say £12-15m up front plus £3-5m add-ons for Morelos would be a fabulous deal for someone we got for £1m.
However if he plays in and scored a few goals for Colombia in the Copa America this summer then you never know.....

I would say a total package including add-ons of around £15m would be a great deal.

I'm sure i read that he's similar to James Forrest, slightly ahead of Forrest.
Think Forrest has been involved in something like 34 goals in 42 games.
Morelos has been phenomenal this season for sure. His all round game has gone up a couple of levels.
In terms of a fee he is maybe held back a bit by his disciplinary record, the fact he is just starting out on his international career, the lack of CL experience plus the fact he is playing in Scotland.
I can see the parallels with Dembele but he did score a couple of high profile CL goals and was on a pretty hot streak for France U21s which would have boosted his fee.
But then he forced his departure and left in a strop so maybe that reduced it

That’s probably part of the problem for some. Liam Boyce was playing in the same league, and I think was the top scorer when he left for around £250k. It’s everything else that goes along with it, including the club he plays for.
It’s like the difference between buying a 3 bed semi in a really nice part of Bearsden and a 3 bed semi in a poor part of Easterhouse (not to disparage Easterhouse).
Robertson was naive to reference Dembele, or to even mention a figure if that’s what he did.
