Mcterminator was unreal. Didn't think he had that in him.
Maybe just maybe a South American finally comes good at United.
MOTM for me as well... He now needs a run in the side. Him along side Herrera would provide a lot of energy in the middle with Pogba providing the creativity...
Fred should have had more games.
If I was him, and had to watch herrera and lingard selected in front of me, I'd question the ambition of the club
The lads have stepped up when needed, and our youngsters look hungry. Might just have something to do with Ole?
Nah, it was only PSG - Incey would have smeared them 5-nil, right?
McTerminator! hopefully we can drop the McMayonnaise nickname.
Other than Eric B (not sure what happened there) I think the players that played tonight all stepped up and have proved they deserve to be at United.
He bossed the MF with his intercepting passes, starting the forward play and ball distribution.
Well composed. He's best performance in a Man United shirt imo.
No doubt the unsung heroes of Paris
Ole has given these guys belief in themselves. No belittling them.
Take Lukaku and Sanchez. He has told them that they will get chances and it is up to them to take it. One of them has. He has, like LVG previously, put trust in youngsters to come in and make a claim for a spot in the squad when others are injured. No complaining. Unlike his predecessor.
He has brought back what was lost when SAF and Gill left
Ole: “Paul Pogba came, supported us, he followed us in training, he participated in the meetings. There is a great team spirit, we are United. That's the Manchester spirit!”
People talking bad about his attitude?
Was brilliant v city in both games last season. I thought the big money move might of been the problem. He obviously has talent.
I think Fred did great today. Is it enough to start him with Pogba and McTominay against Arsenal though? Or does Pereira start?
Don't know why people call him a flop, he hardly played and when he did the whole team was pretty crap. Interesting to see how he develops under Ole and remember not every player hits the ground running. He may take a season to get used to the PL.
The whole team was superb but Smalling was my MOTM. He was absolutely class. Southgate doesn't think he's among our best 5 CB's......

Smallings tackle on Mbappe when he tried to go round ddg... Unreal
Motm by a distance for me
Lindelof, fred and Mctominay were excellent... Lukaku goals aside, ran himself into the ground... But Smalling was superb
Lukaku last night solidified his place as a starting player and will play every week if he keeps up this form. And no one should begrudge him that
Thought Fred was excellent. He’s been very good in the CL for Shakhtar so this is probably a comp he’s going to be better in than the PL which is a different kettle of fish. Still, the confidence he’ll get last night will hopefully get his United career up and running

My biggest beef with lukaku has always been his work rate, how static and poor his movement would often be
The last few games... Ignoring the 6 goals... he has been a different player altogether, probably worked harder than he ever has before. Looked dead on his feet towards the end last night.
He's given interviews lately where he's singing Ole's praises, mentioning bits of advice he's getting, seems to love him. Ole's maybe bringing the best out of him
Also... Better in a two than as a front man with two wide players? Thought the after match comments on how him and Rashford were talking and planning how to work with each other were interesting
"I know he's going to stay, there's no doubt about that," he told Viasport. "He wants to stay, the players want him to stay. We're doing really well, we're playing like Manchester United should play.
"He's a young coach, he has young players as well so it's the perfect environment to develop and hopefully win trophies in the future."
Lukaku pointed to the wins at Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal in another interview with beIN SPORTS, before asking: "What else does he have to do?"
Asked how Solskjaer has helped him, Lukaku said: "He's done a lot. When I came back in, for me, personally he had a plan.
"He wanted me to be really sharp in three or four weeks and that's what happened. We took three or four weeks, I did a lot of interval work and a lot of finishing and now I can say that I am fully fit.
"But then for the team, he made us play offensive football. He gives the young players confidence. Sometimes he's tough but at the right time he knows also to give a compliment.
"In training we do a lot of small games, a lot of focus on our offensive part of the game and that's what the players like."

Safe to say big Rom is a fan of Ole
Great attitude from him considering he's not been first choice until recently, cannot question his mentality.
