With you there for once Sandy

Can't believe she thought blaming MPs was a good idea when she needs them on her side.

Equally can't believe she said she's on the British public's side when even leave voters don't want her deal.

Worst PM in living history.

I think after she lost the Majority at the General Election, then she should have resigned, no ifs, no buts. She is stumbling from one disaster to another, but holding the whole country to ransom, by refusing to step aside. She is setting records for the most votes lost by a Government ever, yet she still fails to acknowledge she is doing anything wrong. And then tries to blame everybody else but herself.

I thought one of the main planks of the Leave argument was that Parliament could regain control, well they have it, and now she is saying they should not be putting their point of view, only her view matters.

I voted to Leave but I admit leaving with No Deal will be bad thing, but nowhere near as bad as people are predicting.

Unfortunately I see us leaving with No Deal, whenever that may be.

Theresa May took stupidity to a whole new level with her statement last night.

"nowhere near as bad as people are predicting."

Trust me, it will be much much worse.

Maybe not on Brexit day +1 (when the pound will inevitably crash) but in the weeks that follow.

All this just to kick out a few Polish builders.

Job losses
Food shortages
Medicine shortages
Children dying of preventable diseases.

Brexiters will need a lot of soap to wash all the blood from their hands (but there will probably be a shortage of that too)

I agree with everything Sandy has said.

This is very strange.

She hasn't been great but she has been given an impossible task. The leave voters felt we would be better off, hence voting to leave, well at least I hope that's why they voted to leave. So far the agreements won't make us better off, how can they? So leave voters are happy. Remain voters hoped for as soft a Brexit as possible so the damage is minimal, we close to heading for no deal with an extension requested for negotiations. Therefore remain voters aren't happy. She really can't win.

What? It will be as bad as people are predicting. The sector I work in is in chaos already. The Calais situation giving indication of how things could be. Delays and costs increased. This unstability has already increased costs and delays.

A National Humilation.

A completely self inflicted constitutional crisis.

And back again she goes today to The EU with the begging bowl.

Those people must have the patience of a saint.

Whilst haulage/logistics etc has been well publicised the loss of shared data has not.

Especially loosing access to EU security databases etc. Which is why I think a 'no deal' would be avoided by the revocation of the a50 notice - in the interests of national security if anything else.

Leave voters aren’t happy because 17.5 million people have been completely disregarded and lied to. We were told we would be exiting the EU after a democratic vote was won fairly and the government are still pi^** about 3 years down the line. It’s all a complete farce and I would rather leave the EU cesspit with no deal at all.

That's what I said. She can't win. Some leave voters are happy to leave, whatever crap deal is made, even the worst, no deal but she has to cater for everyone and to leave with the best deal possible.

A reason why a 'people's vote' should be avoided. As many folk still don't understand what Brexit represents.

Which has been aided and abetted by incompetence in Westminster, and a failure of the media to adequately inform.

It's been pointed out before but this whole process has if anything shown that remain was actually the majority decision. Leave won the referendum yes, but they're split about how to go about it. X amount want a soft Brexit, y amount want a Norway model, z amount want no deal etc.

No Deal is Better than a Bad Deal
----------------------------------------------
Not sure about that. A bad deal can still be a lot better than no deal, considering you had 2 years to come up with an agreement to leave the EU. How long does it take to agree trade deals with all countries in the world separately. And not to forget the lost subsidies and changing everything back to local laws.
