David Silva has had a poor season by his standards. Wouldn't have him ahead of Pogba. He's had problems with injuries and is getting on a bit now. Declined for me. Annoyingly the have a ready made replacement in Bernardo Silva already there.

This season the three who have been shoehorned in the team of the year have all been better. Not a great year for central midfielders with Silva declining, De Bruyne having his injury issues etc.

Look who they play for. Trent has the best front 3 in the league. Doherty has decent players who got off to a slow start. Besides my point is about defending. As I said before Trent has been subbed off numerous times for being a defensive liability and has lost his spot to Gomez and Milner at times.

Doherty isn't a RB per say...

Also Trent lost his spot??

And my point is that he hasn't, you've made it up. He's been subbed off as we were leading the game and wanted to go with the more defensive option. He's had a few poor games if you'd rather focus on them but then so has every player. He's been thr best right back in the league and part of the best defence in the league.

I wouldn’t begrudge a young player like Trent a couple of bad games. On the whole he’s been class.

Good management from Klopp subbing him off occasionally.
