Eriksen like Pogba has had significant runs of poor form as well as periods of being influential..lot of Spurs fans criticising him this season. Not saying it’d be wrong to have him there but I think any midfielder you put there there’s not much really for one stand out candidate

Pogba - jeez, just no.
Hazard - probably
Son - not an unreasonable choice.
Someone from Wolves - maybe ?
No Salah - and no real objections from you lot ? Confirms what most of us non Pool fans have been thinking. Average season compared to some team mates, plus damaged reputation from all the histrionics on the penalty area.

Salah hasn't been as good as Mane, Sterling or Aguero and therefore shouldn't get in. All that other guff you spoke about is just nonsense, which isn't a surprise when it comes from you, the person who crates daily articles about the whole world being against Spurs.

Son should definitely be in there, so should Vertonghen, Spurs just went head to head with City over three games, and there was very little difference between the two sides.
A CL semi-finalists, possibly finalist or even winners and no players in the team of the year.

I agree about Son but before we get too giddy, Spurs won one of the 3 matches against City, the one where City had 3 of their best players out. Spurs lost the other 2. Son should be in ahead of Pogba though, Pogba may have the ability to be better than Son but he isn't demonstrating it at all.

Trent getting there is also debatable but that may be down to there not being much of a contest for the position. For us he is always the weak link defensively.”
Behave

There really isn't too much competiton at FB, City have a sick note and someone prone to brainfarts, Spurs' f/b are pretty awful and United are still playing Young and a guy who looks like he should be a prop forward. Not an area of strength in the PL at present so the Liverpool guys are probably the best of a bad bunch.

Spurs also had some if their best players missing in the two games at the Etihad. Laughable you can use missing two or three players with the squad you have. Spurs beat you without Kane on the pitch.
Not laughable at all. KDB was the best player in the PL last season and no team would fail to miss him, Bernardo has been ripping teams apart all season as you saw in the two matches he played against you. Mendy is City's only LB and to cover the position with a midfielder left a gap in which Son was able to score the goal which won the first leg.
As for Kane out, Spurs seem to win more without him, as a non Spurs fan I think Son is a better team player in that the team don't rely on him to the same extent so up their game.

Jeez - another one reading a couple recycled articles around and falling into the nonsense of we're better without Kane.
Those are stats without context. Level of opponents, Kane's injury status etc. etc.
Not really, responding to Sandy's 'more than matched City' type comments. More than matched would indicate won 2 of the 3 games and scoring more than City. Patently untrue.

But the facts say you were beaten in 2 of the 3 games and City outscored you by 50% in the 3 games. Hardly 'more than matched City' is it?
