I tell you Dazza, if Nobb stoped spinning suddenly he would probably launch himself into orbit.

Winning trophies is the very best way for Ole and the younger players to start to become serial winners like the teams we’re trying to catch

The 2006 league cup win was massive for some of our players. Never turn down a trophy especially if it gets us back into the CL
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool serial winners now
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------

They’ll probably win the CL and with how well they’ve done in the league they can be called serial winners in the sense they seem ruthless in winning week after week

Think us going for every trophy we can realistically get will help us reach that goal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So they are not serial winners?

Winners in the sense they are seemingly winning every week and it looks as though this is going to be the start of something very special for them

Interesting how both Ajax and ourselves progressed after the Europa final in 2017

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Interesting and also educational. It just goes to show with the right people in place, correct planning, we can be back in business in 2-3 years. Ajax have improved so much and have hardly spent much. We have the financial power behind us.

For the sake of 200 pedantic comments I retract the term serial winners and mean that we need to get something of what Liverpool have and that’s a ruthless spirit which is what I feel they have and we lack right now

How about putting your hands up and admit you were talking nonsense.

Not really because I also mentioned City who are serial winners

Classic! Caught writing utter rubbish and trying to move the goalposts. Keep at it.

But that is why you write such rubbish. Your sole intention on this site is to pee people off.

No idea why you display faux outrage when you manage it.

Will we start learning

We’ll be fine when we finally have a capable coach in place combined with a chief exec who knows what he’s doing

I'd excuse a poor FA Cup and League cup campaign for one year if we did well in the other two. We could easily win the EL if we went for it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Really? This is totally contrary to all your gloom and doom comments for the past month.

I was under the impression you thought we would be closer to relegation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

What have I said that is so incredible? That we go for 4th (didn't say we'd get it) and try and win the Europa League???

We are apparently going to spend £250m this summer. We should be favs for the Europa next year in truth. We probably will be too with the bookies.

This is a watershed moment in ja606.

I get the point about Liverpool, even if they’ve not had anything to show for it in the league. But it’s easier said than done, and the way they’ve built their squad is at odds with how we run the club, sadly.

Ole has also spoken about building the team through young players which isn’t really what Liverpool have done, which was contrary to the narrative of how Klopp would rebuild Liverpool.

Nothing what so ever. I can only live in hope. At present, other than Nohlman, you are the most negative poster on this site. And Nohlman isn't a United fan.

You're quite grumpy too at times. Is that fair? I think most would go along with me there. Even you can concede that.

Now imagine you've paid over £1000 out this year to watch that tripe and given up your time with your family. Would you be ultra positive?

It's called letting out frustration. It's been horrid again. You have no idea what the atmosphere is like around the ground. It picked up really well for 12 week after Jose went but it's dropped again.

No SE, I am not grumpy. I just don't tolerate stupid people.

Yes our club isn't being run how it should be. I know this. So does every other United fan. We don't need you to tell us with every post you make.

You are quite grumpy, whatever you say.

I do actually agree with you quite a lot anyway. And you do with me.

Do I go on and on about things like the Glazers? Maybe I do yeah. I can see why it could be annoying. I'm not wrong about them though.

I agree with you on most players too like Lingard, Young, the defenders etc.

Stretford’s frustrations are understandable, to be fair. Bet the repetitive nature of it is just as frustrating for others on the forum because, while a lot of it has merit, it starts to dominate every subject and it becomes difficult to discuss anything in isolation. That said, Nohlman is far worse in this regard, so it’s not fair to put everything on Stretford.

Try and see it from my pov. You lot are equally as fed up as me with the current situation from top to bottom. Now factor in £1100 or so for all home games and tell me how you'd feel watching this year after year.

Unless you're paying to watch this tripe you can't begin to know how much it hurts seeing the club you love going down the drain.

I will try and ensure I don't turn everything into a Glazer out article though. I'm just so fed up with false dawns and excuses.
