DCL is a tough one because I think if you asked the question last summer I’d say no-brainer, but this year his injury has seemed to have affected him. Love him as a player though, England have some great strikers.

Also Raphinha is brilliant but part of that is cos he’s so much fun.

I think he's bulked up quite a bit since he moved up top. Not sure he's got the same pace over longer distances any more.

Is it just me that's bored of the Brazilian rumours?

DCL is a CF. Raphina is a tricky winger. Richarlison is a versatile attacker.

For what we need - ie quality in-depth as back up to an established front 3, Richarlison is the logical signing.

DCL started a lot of his early career at LW and broke through the ranks at LW, RW and sometimes attacking mid. He is very positionally versatile.

By dcl do you mean Calvert Lewin? Him left wing seems mental now. His best attributes are hold up and in the air.

DCL has bulked up loads since his early days, I don’t think he can play wide anymore

Back then he was skinny and hard running

Now he’s much more of a target man who plays between the posts

DCL games before one bad injury wasn’t really a sick note at all, misuse of that expression.

He’s great in the air, great at running in behind, has decent hold up play and is a reliable goal scorer. He can do both the Son stay out wide and run in behind role and play up top and look to bring others into play (far better than Richarlison can).

Only reason I wouldn’t go in for him is that he hasn’t got back to the level he was pre-injury yet.
