If I was a young player and had the opportunity to sign for Tottenham, or go a couple of leagues down, I think I'd honestly prefer to go for the latter. I just think there is such a tiny chance that you'll get given the chances st spurs that you would elsewhere

Obviously there are the anomalies, but if you look at the positions we're interested in this summer, I can't imagine anyone in the academy is going to get in ahead of a £30m new signing

Some players make the transition well and some don't. Just saying, it's hard to really get too hyped up on a Championship player showing good form at a young age.
