"but if he stays and can get his attitude spot on like that last night then we have a top quality player on our hands."

How many times have we heard/said this about Ntcham after a strong performance, for him to then look disinterested in his next few games and be completely anonymous.

In his area of the field, you need consistency. You can afford a slightly erratic level of performance from flair players as they tend to play in areas of the pitch where losing the ball, or not tracking back and being positionally aware, aren't as crucial and don't lose you too many goals.

I've never been convinced by Ntcham, and I suspect I never will be. He flatters to deceive too often despite there being talent there.

It's one thing I can't stand.. Laziness in a footballer. It's why I never liked Samaras, and can't understand the daft cult following he has/had.

Don’t think anyone is saying differently and it’s clearly more hope than expectation.

Other than that, I thought we cruised it last night. Looked really impressive first half.. the Estonian mob are essentially Scottish level without the dirty could/tactics (although they did try it on at Parkhead). We swept them aside for the vast majority of the two legs. Eased of second half last night but kept the cleansheet which is always a bonus.

And gave the coefficient a wee boost while were at it

That's like hoping Scott Brown will learn how to pass the ball forward 8/10 😂

Thought Ntcham looked a lot less sulky last night, you could see him joking and chatting away with Boli coming on at halftime. Could mean a couple of things, he has new French brethren to pal about with or he knows he will be away. Hopefully it is the first and he will have the head screwed down this season, I still believe we need quality players like him

ntchams a player, its just getting it out of him more often thats the problem.

he is our most technically gifted midfielder by a mile, his first touch is in his head.

Ralston got his chance again but hopefully that puts to bed the nonsense spouted about him needing time. He’s just an absolutely horrifying footballer.

Agree with that team.

As far as last night goes, we could have won by a lot more. That team was dire, but we were professional and showed we were way better than them. Got a bit sloppy for a while after the break, but after that took control again.

Cluj will be a major step up, but if we can get stabilised defensively, must have a good chance.

Going forward we look really good. But, if we are pinging balls into the box, maybe we should work on who is meant to be getting on the end of them? It`s pointless otherwise.

IF the targets we are looking at are correct that suggests Hatem will be backup.

I'd be keener to get someone in who plays right back regularly and not 4 times last year.

nonetheless, we still need another.

Bingo!

schitload of crosses but not hitting anyone, needs work but on the plus side we are attacking a lot more.
