Hahahaha.
Get back in the EU to trade with a bloc of countries which represents less than 3% or something of the trade we do with the union we’ve just split from.
Brilliant tactics.
And as if the EU will entertain Scotland in its own right.
ffs. Some mental stuff on here.

Quote of the day has to be from one of the 'Rangers daft' pensioners told to take their union jack flags down from their sheltered housing in case of causing offence.
“My wife died last year so all I have is Rangers and my dog."
Nearly brought a tear to my eye
Not the sharpest bulb in the book then.
The thing is that they surely have a few different attack lines on the SNP that will resonate, so why make things up? Madness and shows they are massively incompetent.
Everyone's favourite Tory Ross Thomson was tweeting about how Boris' pledge for 20,000 new police officers in England and Wales was good news for Scotland, because it would increase our Barnett consequentials. Naturally he went silent when it was pointed out that the decrease of 21,000 officers over the last few years therefore means the Tories decreased our Barnett consequentials by stealth.

He's a weapon.. mind it was about the week of the December 'May's Brexit deal/meaningful vote' (that was pulled), and he was pinging out his nut giving an evening interview outside Westminster.
Could see from a mile away he was buzzing off coke. Then that story came out a couple weeks later about him groping guys in the bar
He's a mess. Forever sooking up to folk, and full of crap. He was clearly angling for a job in Boris' cabinet, could tell he was gutted with his 'congratulations' tweet afterwards 😂
I found it funny reading reports that Ruth was apparently 'furious' with Boris' decision to sack Mundell.
He was probably the most pathetic Scottish Secretary we've ever had. An absolute weasel of a man.

Independence is the best thing that could happen to Tory supporters in Scotland IMO.
Cut themselves loose from the party down south and start afresh as the Scottish Conservative Party. Ok that means they wont be in the Conservative and Union Party as there would be no union, but they would fair better and get their message across better if they were not hampered by the clowns down south who are all but despised in Scotland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah there is a degree of guilt by association there and if there is a no deal Brexit then they might have to cut ties.
They could probably just merge with the Union Bears.

The challenge in that is that Ruth has positioned them as the Unionist party of Scotland - the Union is at the heart of their appeal and their strategy.
As much as they continually complain about the SNP raising indy, it's the Tories who continually raise constitutional questions (evidenced by the questions they ask at FMQs). They want to talk about indy because it's their main vote winner - to the point where I know very little about any of their other policies.
Not sure about that Lex they're just as shambolic in Scotland.

Totally agree mate. I actually argued prior to the first indyref that independence would be good for right of centre politics as it would allow a party to shake off the negative perception of the UK Tories and allow genuine, right of centre politics to be discussed and debated.
