Calmac can fill in at LB apparently.

Quite a few big shocks last night.

Porto out to Krasnodar on away goals losing 3-2 in Portugal.
Dynamo Kiev out after a 3-3 draw at home to Brugge.
Basel out to LASK (who they fack are they) 5-2 on agg.
Copenhagen out to Red Star on penalties.

Even Ajax struggled big time but got there in the end.

Strange night.

Hayes wasn’t even on the bench last night, so i’ve no doubt we’ll be signing a first choice LB now. Too fecking late obviously, but even our board/management wouldn’t dare replace KT with Greg Taylor now .... or would they?!

McGregor was fine when he was up the pitch, but he looked really uncomfortable defensively.

Get away with that against diddy teams in the league but not in Europe, Lenny should have put his hands up and admitted he got it wrong, he should have also openly criticized Brown, if a young player had done that he'd have been hung out to dry.

Never mind who scouted him. Lennon has to find a role for him, whether that's LB or further forward.

As has been said, his confidence will be in bits and it's an arm round the shoulder confidence rebuilding job. FWIW.....I've not given up on him.

Morgan I have.....how somebody saw he was a player I don't know.

first half mcgregor kept wandering into the middle, in the final third.

i thought he was poor but i'm not blaming him for it.

he's not a left winger, never mind a left back.

as i said, i can only imagine Kennedy told Lennon he could play there given he was the only one left from last season when mcgregor played there last.

Was a stupid decision from the get go and there was absolutley no need for it.

worst part of last night wasnt mcgregor at left back, it was losing him from midfield.

he supports the full backs, ntcham didn't, so brown was stretched and you could see that in the end because he was exhausted.

when does that ever happen to brown?

its ntcham or christie, he's not made for CM in europe for celtic.
