When I seen the lineup I just assumed it was a 352 with Johnston and Forrest dropping back(which was bad enough)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
10 mins into the game the guy next to me was still adamant we were playing 3-5-2, when it was clear as day from KO we had a flat back 4 with CalMac at LB.
Was still shocked by just how much he sh@t it in that first half though, out of position or not.
he's not a full back tho DTJ, he doesnt know how to play the role and his only support was a young lad.
it buggered johnstone as well because he had no support from mcgregor, no overlaps.
it was idiotic
There was already danger signs the ball going over his head and they were nearly in before the goal. I'm just totally fckin scunnered with it all. Was some atmosphere 2nd half, 3 goals celebrated wildly and it was all for nothing thanks to us not being able to do the absolute bare minimum fcking basics at the back. 2-1 was when we were well on top and they were on the ropes! Brown doing what he did gave them the spark they needed
the only person who did see it, or didnt want to see it, was Lennon.
couldn't admit he got it wrong.
once we got the third on he should have brought on boli and bitton and tightened it right up
but he didn't, yet complained about the defence after the game.
the f...ing nerve of him man

Agree with all that, but he still seemed to lose all ability to control or pass a football, even when he was in plenty space. Ultimately Lenny’s fook up though.
Brown needs put out his misery.
Anyone know if there's any competitions to win where you can train with the first team?
I'm going to enter 1,000,000 times and two foot Scott Brown to the anterior cruciate.
Not once did Lennon blame the defence....he mentions firstly McGregor set up equaliser.....what about the first goal we conceded? He also said if we'd played like we did 2nd half in first half we'd have gone through.......we lost 3 goals in the 2nd half, yet again turning complete blind eye to his own mistakes!
Before the game i might have liked to have seen Christie wide left to help Boli and cutting inside when he was overlapping with Forrest on the right Ntcham in the middle and Brown deeper with McGregor

Ntcham – Ran about the middle of the park but not really influencing the game as much as he should have 4
Some kants just shouldn't be allowed to watch football.
Clueless b@stards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I though Ntcham was pretty poor defensively, he has to work harder, looked sharp in possession but he needs to do the dirty work too, same goes for Johnston, not only was McGregor played out of position, but he was also left out to dry.
Ntcham won the ball back on several occassions first half due to hospital baws from McGregor and Brown.
Brown did one in the first half with his left foot across out own goal, it was like a wee lassy kicking a size 5 mouldmaster for the first time, pathetic!

Absolutely. As has been said, at 0-0 they had an unbelievable chance as a ball floated over CalMac’s head to a guy completely unmarked a few yards out. Clear warnings, yet fook all changed. When Morgan came on for Mikey, we’re all going ... WTF?!!

could say the same for johnston tho, chucked into a big game and didnt have an experienced full back to assist them
manager let them both down with childish tactics.
we were talking about football manager yesterday, last night was like a 10 year old playin it, any player, any position, just to fit them in

Thought i was the only one to notice that too mate, horrendous attempt to block the cross.
Then he didn't close the guy down for the 3rd.

See after the penalty was scored, Brown walked back to the centre circle staring into the ground.
Hardly seen after it.
That's supposed to be the captain of our club, complete disgrace.
browns performance last night reminded me on an alpha wolf in a pack.
when it misses its prey, times up.

We should be used to this p!sh by now but last night was one of the sorest exits I can remember, it's frustrating coz I think we clearly have better players than Cluj, silly individual errors paired with Lenny trying to prove his tactical genius has cost is big time.
Guys like Forrest, Christie, and Eddy deserved a lot better, they played well enough over both games to expect to be in the next round, they've been let down badly.

He'll be ideal at Ibrox btw, loves a 50.50, rapid but can actually pass a flucking baw.
