Agree it’s slowly phasing out, I actually bought my wedding rings in cash earlier this year and the lady behind the counter looked at me as if I’d asked if I could jump behind and have a play with her t1ts. Not sure moving to a cashless society is a good thing though.

There are loads of restaurants, cafes and bars here that don't accept cards; probably 50% of them I'd guess. The authorities won't let that last forever though.

Ruined one of my tricks for queue jumping though. Get a tenner out with a receipt, walk up to the front and tell the bouncer his mate let you out to get some money out. Worked 9/10 times!

Definitely needs to be more done to stop this abuse on social media. You should have to provide proof of identity to verify your account. It would stop a lot of bullying in addition to the racial abuse.

I've seen an idea float that we should put our driving license details in or even passport number, I don't think that's a bad idea.

I wouldn't have a problem with that at all. I guess with kids they would have to get an ID card of some sort. Would also help to protect young children that shouldn't be on social media yet.
